Lovely stay with stunning views and great facilities. Perfect for a long weekend getaway. Little bit of a drive to other amenities so come prepared but a good middle ground to explore local sites.

The cottage is just as advertised. Very clean, very comfortable, very charming. Only stayed one night. Sorry we didn’t plan to stay longer.

Thank you Alex, our holiday exceeded all my expectations! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the beach and a short drive into Apollo Bay. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, which was great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I can't wait to return!

Great stay here. Trust what you read under Bohdan’s management. He’s a great host. The cottage is gorgeous and in a great location. Everything you need - very practical design. Well equiped and clean which was a highlight after staying in many grotty, sticky places with a lot of everything you don’t need. Bohdan asked for feedback as to what the cottage might need and I can’t think of anything - it’s all there 👍.

Rickie-Lee's place was clean and was fully stocked with amenities and things we could use to make our stay great. We made full use of the BBQ and fire pit. Beds were really comfy and the house was well insulated which would be great for the colder months.

Joanne's place was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Very helpful and even lit the fire for us before arrival. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Such a beautiful place to stay, super peaceful and quiet. Far enough way from busy areas but only less than 5 minutes to any main shops, cafes or the beach. Loved how clean the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were. Definitely recommend looking through their travel guide and to stargaze on the bean bags in the front garden. Absolutely beautiful :)

Eloise’s cottage is located on the main street in Forrest, extremely easy to find, and the check in was a breeze. Everything you needed was provided. It was an extremely cold, rainy night when we arrived. There’s no heating in the rooms, toilet and kitchen, but there was a warm and cosy fireplace in the living room. Heated blankets were sufficient to keep warm. Overall it was an wonderful experience going off the grid for two nights. Thank you!

Jade's place was all it lived up to for us. Gussie our doggo had a lovely time mooching around outside. The BBQ did the local chops and mixed grill with great flavour and quick heat to get it done and back inside in the warmth. We bought a salad at the local 'everything' shop and it was a simple and healthy dinner with the warmth of the fire. This was the best thing - the whole house kept the warmth in for our entire stay (there was a frost overnight of 1 degree and we were warm all night even without electric blankets - good news!).

We had a great stay at Kat’s place. The cottage is well set up, roomy, centrally located (though still quiet) and was spotlessly clean. There are a lot of great eating places a short walk away. Also appreciated being able to check in a little earlier. Thanks again Kat - would definitely recommend your place to family and friends.

Loved my stay at the Bells Beach Cottages. Jacqueline and Gavin are lovely and responsive hosts who made the stay welcoming, easy and comfortable. The surrounding property is lovely and peaceful, lots of bird life and even spotted some kangaroos! Bells Beach is very close by and Torquay is not far to grab supplies. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

We very much enjoyed this charming home and found the beds comfortable and the wood stove cozy. Thank you, Cris, for making our stay so lovely.

Having stayed at this location 5 years ago, we were keen to see what improvements the new owner has made, and boy, we weren’t disappointed, Booking procedure and communication was 1st class, the premises gave us everything we wanted in the lovely area of the Western District, relaxing and soaking up the serenity… Highly recommended.. Was perfect stop over and close enough to Geelong and the surf coast. Peaceful little town with cute little lolly shop and great pub for dinner all next door to accomo. It rained a lot and was cold so we didn’t get to use play ground near by which would have been fun for the kids. We kept warm with fire and split system and beds well equiped with doonas and blankets and lots of pillows. Apartment Well decked out with vintage furniture and great magazines and lots of read. Coffee machine and fresh beans a great touch and fridge well equipped for our 2 night stay. Bathroom modern and great shower. Would def come back

Lovely having fresh milk in the fridge and Eggs for next day. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Most of all host responded so quickly to our questions. Chocolate snack was the best pick me up after a day of travelling.

Anna’s place was just perfect. Exactly like the photos and description. Anna even provided a homemade fresh loaf of bread and some Easter choccies which was such a treat! If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is the perfect spot! It’s a decent drive to Apollo bay for restaurants but having the quiet serenity and local wildlife at our doorstep made it worthwhile. Highly highly recommend Anna’s place. Can’t recommend enough!

We had the best time staying at Willow Wood. Would highly recommend. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped (including for cooking at home). The scenery is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed some great bush walks in the area. We would love to stay again!

Wye dream is an absolute delight. Thank you so much for hosting us, Michelle & Matthew. We loved it so much. Sleeping to the sounds of the waves was a tonic. With kangaroos & kookaburra in the backyard it was a quintessential holiday stay. It’s also really rare to find an Airbnb with full linen included and a fabulously appointed kitchen with an ocean view! There so much light & air in the house it feels easy to be in. It’s not flashy…it’s warm and comfortable & spacious. The location is perfect. Not such an uphill hike but still has views of the ocean from the excellent bedrooms. It’s better than the pictures! For anyone wanting to stay in Wye River, pub & general stores are absolute delights and it’s a great base to explore further afield. Thanks so much again. We really hope to come back!
