Our stay in this beautiful cottage was just great. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The location is ideal – quiet and idyllic, but still well connected. We particularly liked the proximity to the zoo in Emmen, which we could easily reach. The charming cheese shop was also a great insider tip from Anne-Marie. Typically, in addition to the cheese, we also bought an Old Jenever, the traditional Dutch juniper, and had Hagelslag for breakfast. And of course, the hot tub was just fantastic for relaxing. For nature lovers, the nearby forest is ideal for walks or bike rides. We enjoyed the peace and the fresh air very much. Anne-Marie and Marnix were super friendly and helpful, communication was straightforward and they responded quickly. There wasn't even a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival 😊 Conclusion: An absolutely recommended accommodation, we will be happy to come back.

We had a nice few days at Jan's. The apartment offers everything you could ever need. In the village there is everything you need. Emmen is also easy to reach. It's nice to have peace and quiet for a while if you're used to big city noise!

Very spacious, superbly equipped and sparkling clean apartment. Furnished with attention to detail and idyllically located. The communication with Sabine was straightforward, extremely courteous and incredibly responsive. A minor problem was immediately solved in the evening with the greatest efforts of Sabine and Stefan. Absolutely recommended, we'd love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at TheDa's place. It is a brand new apartment that has a clever layout and is lovingly furnished. You have everything you need and feel right at home. Within walking distance you are right in the city center. Communication with Theda was always quick and very friendly. We can recommend this place without hesitation!

So here we felt right at home! Loving design in everything as well as perfect cleanliness make the arrival as in a 2nd home very easy. Very good instructions, very clear and complete, no questions remain unanswered! The restaurant tips were all super good and we always had a good time on the excursions - favorites: Restaurant Kabajs and Castos, walk on the wall, of course the art gallery... Excursions to the north/Norddeich, Aurich and Greetsiel were also great. The most wonderful thing was the incredible friendliness of the East Frisians, consistently and simply pleasant to spend a relaxing time in the fresh North Sea air. Glad to come back!

Marion is a super host. Friendly and nice. She even allowed us to park the bikes in the garage overnight.

The apartment is very nice. Everything is as described. You will find everything you need in the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything. We loved being there and would definitely come back.

We have already been to this beautiful house several times and always feel very comfortable. It really has everything you need and both nature and Emden are really easy to reach.

We were traveling with two small children. The house was perfectly furnished, equipped for our needs and even in bad weather there were plenty of excursion destinations in the area (e.g. indoor playground, swimming pool). We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. Also nice was the sun in the front garden, where we could have breakfast quietly. The location is nice and quiet, so we were able to sleep really well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back. Finally, I would like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, wonderful week. An all-round perfect apartment – with lovely details! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a bottle of wine and small snacks – a really nice and personal gesture that immediately creates a holiday mood. The apartment is tastefully decorated and offers pleasant, balanced furnishings – neither overloaded nor spartan, just right to feel good. Particularly noteworthy is the spacious bathroom, which impresses with plenty of space and comfort. For our dog, it was also a little paradise: there were dog treats and even a toy available – we were very pleased and it shows how animal-friendly the hosts are. Everything was thought of: There were more than enough towels, a very well-stocked kitchen with everything you need (and more!), and a large selection of games for social evenings – perfect for family. We would come back back!!

We felt very comfortable in Marie-Luise's house. Nordic, quiet and idyllic. Walks, bike rides or just relax in one of the many seating areas...and we could also make music without neighbors.

We spent almost two weeks in Michael's beautiful apartment and felt very comfortable. He is a very nice host. The stylishly furnished apartment is highly recommended. There was everything you needed and the private parking was also very convenient.

We liked the apartment very much, it is spacious, bright and stylishly decorated. Dennis as a host was responsible, caring and kind. We heartily recommend it!

Very nice contact. Apartment was bigger than expected. Everything you need was there. If you like it quiet and rural, this is the place to be.

We spent a weekend with two families including four children. Location is beautiful, quiet yet close to all amenities. The accommodation is very complete and equipped with every comfort. The children have enjoyed the space with table tennis table, pool table and shuffleboard for hours. Ideal when it was raining outside. The horses outside were also very popular with the children. The sauna and plunge pool for the parents made the house complete. Mieke is very hospitable and gave us good tips for the surroundings. We had a fantastic weekend. The kids can't wait to go again. I really enjoyed it and am happy to recommend the apartment. My dog and I were guests in this beautiful, old and spacious building with great garden and outdoor seating for 2 months. There is everything you need to cook, relax or learn about the area. The contact with Andrea worked great. Thank you.

Apartment is corresponding to the description and photos. Plenty of space. Beautiful roof terrace overlooking the old mill. Stairs to the attic not so good for people with joint problems. Beds 140 cm wide. It is better to confirm parking on the premises in advance.

Jolanda's place was perfect for our 1 month stay. The patio was great for sunny breakfasts. Small town with everything you need. We made some great friends in town. Lively on weekends and quieter during the week. Centrally located to other fun towns. There is about a 10 min walk to the train station. Highly recommend this Airbnb and town.
