Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Mikrohuset ligger i fredfylte og naturskjønne omgivelser i Solbakken- tunet på Os. Fremfor huset ligger Galleri Solbakkestova med sin tilhørende skulpturhage som alltid er åpen for allmenheten. Rundt huset beiter geiter, og man har utsikt over noen frittgående høns, og noen alpakkaer på den andre siden av veien. Huset har terrasser på begge sider, hvor det er herlig å sitte å ta inn omgivelsene og kjenne på roen. Det er også flotte turstier like ved.
