The apartment is a recently renovated space in our lower level with a separate entrance at the rear of the house in a quiet residential northside Ann Arbor neighborhood. As you enter the space, there is a shared laundry/mud room. You then enter the apartment through a locked french door off the laundry. There is a family room with queen size futon and TV, a large bedroom with queen size bed and closet, and a kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven and coffee maker, and a full bathroom.

Valerie showed us the upmost hospitality and was quick to respond to everything. Anytime we had a question it was answered immediately and when we asked to adjust checkout times they were willing and accommodating to help us make us feel even more at home while being away. I would recommend this place and our wonderful hosts to anyone in the area needing a well kept place close to everything. Will absolutely be looking to book again next time I’m in town. 10/10 experience thank you for making our weekend even better and as smooth of a stay as it could’ve been.

We had plenty of room to stretch out, and Juan has tea and coffee available in the morning. We reheated our dinner in the microwave, and brought breakfast and stored it in the refrigerator. The Empty Nest was the perfect AirBnB. It is one of those places in which it is so good, you don't want to share it with others. The perfect home away from home. Spacious, clean, comfortable, everything labeled, with great directions..... and so much uniqueness!!! It is a great private location, but you're still close to everything around. My mom, cousin, and I fell in love with the Empty Nest so much that we have agreed to make it our yearly cousin trip location. Candy is an amazing host!!! Highly recommend.

Todd’s place had great attention to detail. From the sparkling water, to the hot cup of coffee in the morning, ample towels and extra blankets the place was perfect for our mother daughter getaway. Just a short 20 min drive to Ann Arbor. We loved experiencing this classic Victorian home which is just a short walk to downtown Saline. Todd was extremely responsive to all the questions we had and put in effort to make our stay better than expected. Would highly recommend especially if you love classic homes like we do.
