Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Am Salzhaff

Great location close to the sites we wanted to see whilst visiting Wismar. Quiet location on old cobblestone street which was lovely.

We spent 12 days in the beautiful holiday complex in the apartment Bi de Bark and enjoyed the time very much. For two families with two babies, the apartment was just the right size and the amenities were super high quality and at the same time family-friendly. We particularly enjoyed the sauna as well as the beautiful outdoor area. For the children, the chickens were great fun. The apartment is also in a great location so you never have to drive long. We will be happy to come back! :)

Very nice house, furnished with style. We felt very comfortable with 3 children. In Warin you can't do much, but you can do something different every day, e.g. to Schwerin or to the Baltic Sea.

Fantastic property in a great location. 15 min to the beach. Very tastefully furnished cottage, well maintained with terrace in the orchard. Perfect for a " break" , even with a dog.

We stayed at Lille Hus for 2 nights and we had a great stay. The cottage was very clean and there was everything you needed. The parking lot of the house is also clearly visible. The communication was very friendly. We highly recommend this place and would choose it again. All in all it was very nice.

We (two couples) had a great time at the accommodation in Rerik. Everything was very clean, well equipped and the house is very quiet. Especially great for four adults is that there are two full bedrooms and two fully equipped bathrooms – so you have enough privacy. The sauna and fireplace were real highlights. The kitchen was great for cooking together, in the evening we could make ourselves comfortable in front of the fireplace. Only the pans were already heavily worn. All windows had fly screens – very pleasant in the summer. The host was friendly, check-in via lockbox was straightforward. Particularly helpful was a small information booklet with tips on the surroundings and the use of the devices. It's about a 15-minute walk to the beach, but for excursions in the area (e.g. Kühlungsborn, Warnemünde, Rostock, etc.) you definitely need a car – the location of the accommodation is wonderfully quiet. We would come back anytime!

We (2 adults, 2 children) had 5 great, relaxing days in Jens' really nice apartment. Everything you need is available in the apartment and we were even greeted with sweet surprises on arrival. The garden is very nice and ideal for children, in addition it also invites you to relax. Jens is a wonderful host: Very helpful and completely relaxed! We highly recommend this beautiful place!

We stayed a few days over Easter at Quentin's apartment. Everything worked out well for us and we felt completely comfortable. In the rain, we made ourselves comfortable in the apartment and in sunshine we went directly to the beach in front of our door. We will be happy to come back. ✨🌈👍

A virtue born of necessity... We were urgently looking for a place to stay for one night to spend the last night in Poel as a family. As an exception, we were very helped with this wonderful accommodation. We were allowed to arrive much earlier by arrangement and are still very enthusiastic. The pictures do not reflect the quality and attention to detail of the apartment. We now have an excellent option for a relaxing time in the north. Thank you for everything! Particularly noteworthy is the meeting with the neighbors Gaby and Klaus, who lovingly take care of the house and the guests (especially the little ones). Especially with children, you can't get it for any money in the world. Honest, warm, empathetic!

Definitely heartfelt recommendation! I put my grandfather up there for a week & he rarely came back from a vacation as happy as from Stephan's. We are absolutely thrilled with the value for money, the location and the unproblematic communication. We highly recommend this accommodation not only here - but also privately. We stayed in the accommodation for a week for three (with a toddler) and it was just great. A high chair, travel bed and a step (in the bathroom) were provided for our child, communication was always very nice and it was answered quickly. The place was very clean and neat, nicely and practically furnished, we felt right at home. After our day trips, this was the perfect apartment to relax. On site, the landlords gave us tips for activities and generally gave us tips. There was also a great playground nearby, perfect for smaller children. Our son didn't want to leave :) We would come back anytime.

May 2025 A very nice, cozy, clean apartment. Everything as described! Everything was available, I lacked nothing. Great proximity to the beach. Also used the bike for a tour to Boltenhagen. Great surroundings, Wismar also very nice, will definitely come back! Kind regards, Andrea

The accommodation is charming, simple but stylishly designed and offers great views of the countryside. The play barn is an absolute plus for children and adults. Klütz is very pretty and Boltenhagen is a stone's throw away. Martin and Christiane are super nice and were always available and helpful. We fully recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back.

Probably the most beautiful and cleanest Airbnb apartment we've visited so far...and there were many. The amenities are comprehensive and of very high quality. All rooms are generously sized and modernly furnished. The location is ideal, but at the same time quiet. There is even a hotel restaurant right next door. The paths to the parking space are very short, which should be of particular interest to older audiences. We will certainly not have visited the apartment for the last time.:)

Staying at Maren, great location, close to the beach and the room with bathroom exceeded expectations. You can sit outside and close to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had dream weather and did everything on foot or by public transport. The apartment has everything you need. We felt very comfortable there and can only recommend it. Rostock is definitely worth a trip.

I was quite spontaneous for three nights in Lea's apartment and everything worked great. A very cozy and clean apartment with attention to detail. From the terrace, you can enjoy the tranquility and the view of the inland lake and in front you can reach the beach directly with a few steps. Parking spaces are sufficiently available and the parking pass gives you a small advantage. I will definitely return :)

I am traveling by bike on the Baltic Sea and I slept one night in the accommodation. Upon arrival, everything was well explained, the apartment was clean and beautiful. I was able to park my bike in the shed overnight. That was great. The beautiful, wide Baltic Sea beach is about 8 minutes by bike. Birgit was very friendly and responded promptly when I wrote her a message. I highly recommend the place!

Really everything was great. Communication went great and we felt very comfortable. A very successful stay.

Centrally located apartment in the beautiful city of Wismar. Many terraces and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Most restaurants offer a simple tourist menu. But many of those restaurants do have a nicely located terrace. One restaurant we visited was mediocre: Frische Grube. Sebastian's apartment is tastefully decorated. An excellent bed is located on the mezzanine. Accessible via very steep stairs. That is not a problem for those who are good on their feet. Not for us (77 years) either. With our bikes, which we could store perfectly, we explored the coastal areas of Wismar for a week.

Maike's apartment is small but very practical and tastefully decorated. The bathroom and shower are brand new and furnished with style. The kitchen is small but equipped with the essentials. The parking is right in front of the entrance door, so you have a short walk to load and unload. Maike and her husband gave us great tips for activities and the recommended restaurants were also great. The nearest beach is about 5 minutes away by car. However, you can reach many beaches in no time. The Bodden side is also within easy reach. We felt very comfortable from the beginning. From Berlin, we were there in 2.5 hours. A quick trip over the weekend is therefore always worthwhile. See you next time. Grit and Ivo
