Peaceful and quiet place, as we like. The accommodation is simple and functional. The pool is a plus after a beautiful hike! Philippe is both present and discreet. It's a place to recommend.

Staying at Andrew's means having the assurance of a clean and beautifully decorated place, which keeps the coolness super well even when it's 35 outside (tested and approved this weekend!). It's also the assurance of being very warmly welcomed. Finally, it is the assurance of being both very quiet and perfectly located for visiting the most beautiful places around. We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

Our family of five spent an amazing four days at this beautiful property in the tiny village of Lentillac Saint Blaise in the Lot region. Jean Charles and Annick are such gracious hosts - we received a warm welcome the first evening, where Jean Charles invited us to help ourselves to everything in his vegetable garden and the kids loved gathering fresh strawberries. raspberries, gooseberries and lettuce. On our last morning we had a wonderful conversation about local authors and the history of the region. Every corner of their house and garden shows fine attention to detail and beautiful aesthetic sense. Jean Charles built much of the gorgeous furniture himself in his metal workshop. The pool is just perfect and beautifully maintained for daily swims after sightseeing in the many magnificent villages and sites around the region. Everything was so peaceful and comfortable. The linens and toiletries are top quality. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for a restful stay!

Great house, great location absolutely loved it, will be returning again

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

Beautiful discovery, this cottage is a gem in a green setting. Access to the end of the garden in Dordogne is great and deserves to come back in a better season to fully enjoy it. The disconnection is complete. The accommodation is warm, nicely decorated. The garden is peaceful and full of nooks and crannies to discover. There is also a swing for the kids. We are delighted and recommend this cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at Corine’s home. The pictures do not do the amazing view justice! The home is cozy and comfortable and we would definitely return again.

Le Gîte Le Cantou, hosted by Patricia and Didier, is a delightful find that made our stay truly special. Their hospitality is spot-on—discreet yet always there when you need them, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The gîte is impeccably clean, which immediately put us at ease. While the kitchen is quite small, the cookware is a standout, with high-quality pots, pans, and utensils that make cooking a pleasure despite the compact space. The location is a real highlight. Nestled in a quiet private garden, the gîte feels like a peaceful retreat, yet it’s just a short walk to nearby shops. The balance of seclusion and convenience is perfect. The walking trails right from the doorstep are stunning, winding through lush green countryside that feels refreshing and serene. The local farmers’ markets are a treat, packed with fresh produce and delicious regional specialties that inspired our meals. Patricia and Didier have created a lovely, comfortable escape, and we’d happily return.

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

An excellent experience in this accommodation, even more beautifully decorated than in the photos. Everything was perfect: the amenities are well above what most Airbnbs offer, especially in the kitchen. The hosts are extremely friendly and will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. Don't hesitate for a moment if you come across this listing: you won't be disappointed!

Frankly, I have rarely had a rental of this quality on Airbnb. Me and my friends from Beziers felt right at home with the hosts for 4 days. The house is spacious, very well decorated and very functional. A crazy terrace with pool views and a huge garden. In short, a golden listing to keep between us for more availability on the next reservations. And the hosts are extra people to really get to know and who give you good tips for visits and local producers It's the best Really a cottage to recommend for those who want to visit the northern region of the lot Rocamadour, Padirac and Co.

Nice little house in the countryside, quiet and comfortable.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Marie is a very pleasant and accommodating host. We had a great time at her place in a quiet, tastefully decorated accommodation. Everything is done to feel good! We'll be happy to go back. We had a lovely week at Émilie's cottage. It is very well located because close to pretty villages like Autoire, Loubressac, Carennac, Beaulieu sur Dordogne... and sites to see absolutely like the Gouffre de Padirac or Rocamadour. The cottage is in a beautiful quiet property. It has a terrace and the pool is great! The owner turns it on in the evening to swim in colorful waters on warm summer evenings. Beautiful view from the pool. The stairs to climb to the bedrooms are very steep on the other hand. The A/C is installed in the 1st bedroom which is very nice when it's hot but the 2nd floor room lacks a little freshness. The owners are very friendly and you can feel at home. I would recommend it.

This house is truly special, full of character and lovingly restored it felt like the perfect holiday escape! We loved dining outside in the garden, our children loved playing in the meadow next to the house and we all enjoyed getting to stay somewhere so different and beautiful. On a practical note, there was private parking, a high chair, cot and baby bath, a washing machine and drying rack, all the essentials in the kitchen. It was a perfect escape and a very special place to stay - close to all local amenities in Martel, but totally rural and peaceful. We all absolutely loved the river swimming beach - a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive. I really recommend!
