Trails, beach, food, accommodations. Was perfect!

Truly magical. A wonderful flat with everything you’d ever need with equal size terrace you could spend all day on. The view is spectacular. We didn’t want to leave. Parking was easy and there was a lovely bakery just a minute walk away. Edite was a wonderful host. Nazaré and its surroundings were beautiful and definitely a highlight of our trip.

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

From the time we met Rogerio, we felt like we were staying in a friends home. He is so thoughtful and welcoming. The place itself is charming and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a great time at David’s place with our 2 kids. The beach house is only a few footsteps away from a long and beautiful beach and it provides all the required amenities. Special mention to David who, in addition to being extremely friendly, provided great recommendations and was always available to ensure our stay was good. Thank you and see you next time!

We stayed in the house next to Eric's house, who is very warm, extremely friendly and even fun with stories and life experiences from all over the world, and he welcomed us very well throughout the stay. He always respected our privacy despite sharing the outdoor space with us. The house is better than the photos, super comfortable, with great conditions. We went with our dog, who was very well received by Eric's dogs and cats without invading our space. The outdoor space is very pleasant, facing the river, with no fences and almost direct access to the river! Beautiful, secluded, unique space. As we went during the week, there was no one on the river beach, which is very nice but quite small, right next to the house, and it fills up with people easily. We'll be back! Thank you Eric! You're definitely a Superhost!

This place is unique. It is a tree house, where you may sit quietly at mid-level or in the crown of the tree, view the vast landscape, and listen to the birds chipping. Amazing. It is the perfect place to calm down. In case you are already calmed down, use the two pools, billiards, table soccer, take a walk, visit an archeological site, go on great hikes, ... It is a unique place.

Mario and his place were fantastic!! The location was great, with easy access to the sights and the metro. Mario was super helpful and responsive. Absolutely loved my stay at his place. Would definitely stay there again!!

Perfect place to disconnect

It was a wonderful and comfortable space for us. Everything you would need to cook, entertain or recreate was provided. The sleeping area was large. The pond was inviting to swim in and relaxing to sit by with unending views and sunsets that were amazing. In actuality, the pictures cannot do it justice. Thank you and we will return!

We loved spending these 4 days at Fernando's house, a house in the middle of nature, with a lot of privacy, super clean and with everything you need to have a great stay. We were greeted by Goreti, who is a fantastic person, showed us around and gave us very useful information about the surroundings and basically made us feel at home. Thanks to Fernando for the welcome gift! We definitely recommend the cabin!!

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

A magical place to unwind and get in touch with nature. The care and attention to detail stood out, and our host, Ana, was always on call for anything we needed. I highly recommend it!

The space is just as illustrated in the photos. Very beautiful and cozy house, with plenty of outdoor space and, of course, the pool where you can spend an entire afternoon just looking at the valley. Perfect for relaxing and as a base for visiting the nearest cities/villages. Super comfortable sofa. The host responds quickly to questions. I recommend it.

Rosaria is an adorable, recently renovated place in the montains near Leiria, surrounded by the nature, very peaceful and beautiful. The property is pet-friendly and exactly as described. Steve and Sarah are amazing hosts, and they made us feel very welcome. We couldn’t be happier for choosing their place to spend a few days in the countryside. I recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the city.

This house is a real gem, an impeccable experience, from the lush nature to the quality of the olive oil offered to guests. And as if that wasn't enough, they also offered us some essential items for breakfast, in addition to a delicious bread that arrives in the morning during the stay. Mariana was very kind and helped us with everything that was requested. My boyfriend and I love everything and want to return many, many times.

Amazing place to stay with incredible views. Served as an excellent stay to relax and recharge on our road trip around Portugal. The pool was great for our kids during some hot days. Perfect place to disconnect from it all and appreciate the views. The added massage option was great for the adults. The sauna was pristine and clean. Need to find something similar back home in the US.

It’s no surprise this place has a 5-star rating – everything is spot on. Just don’t expect to swim in the lake; it’s more of a tranquil frog and turtle pond, which makes for a lovely view to wake up to.

There are no words to describe how amazing this place is!! A perfect place to disconnect from the routine and enjoy the sound of the surrounding nature. The caravan has everything you need to feel at home, a private and quiet place, perfect for moments with couples or family. The Host Mariana was very attentive and helpful in everything, gave us tips on what to do in the area and how to get to the place easily. It was 2 wonderful nights, but if we could, we would stay there for the rest of our lives!! Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

We had an absolutely blissful stay at Casa dos Cogumelos—not only is it a cozy retreat with a spectacular view, but it is also a place of architectural charm and rich history. The house faces the ocean, offering breathtaking sunsets, the soothing sound of crashing waves, and the unmistakable scent of the sea. To top it all off, Gonçalo proved to be a truly exceptional host, whose thoughtful hospitality made our stay all the more comfortable and memorable. We will most certainly be back.
