Cottage vacation rentals in Alto Alentejo

We love staying at Carlos' house. Calm environment, very friendly, everything impeccable! We want to come back.

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

Very spacious house with pleasant terraces and a lovely swimming pool. Carlos and his wife welcomed us with open arms! They were very friendly and very flexible with check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended!

Lovely house in a friendly village with bars, small supermarkets and pharmacy. Lovely walks around the area. Garden area perfect to relax. Ana responsive and friendly. Easy parking.

Excellent estate for families with children. We were great in accommodation. The surroundings are wonderful, very quiet and beautiful.

We really enjoyed Casa de Asseiceira 2, very clean, very comfortable and functional, well-equipped; we didn't miss anything. The peace and tranquility that you can breathe in the place invite you to rest fully. Lurdes and Emanuel are super hosts, very kind, respectful of privacy, and at the same time attentive at all times, conveying the certainty that if you needed them they would be there, although it was not necessary, since from the first moment we had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. We opened a barbecue that we used every day, and we were able to taste the best fish from the Porto Covo municipal market at home. Thank you very much Lurdes and Emanuel for letting us enjoy your house, we left with the sadness and at the same time joy of leaving behind some unforgettable days.

We didn't expect so much! Licinia was a spectacular host!He was attentive from the very first minute, came to introduce himself, and to say goodbye, he had some gifts for our children for Easter. Honestly, very friendly!The house is great, very clean, modern, with all the amenities. I love the decor, it has been done with love and taste. I have only good words. The area is very nice, we loved Portugal and its people!There are many things to do and see (Dinoparc, Lourinhã, Mafra, Peniche, Lisbon, Morinhos next door, José Franco Village, etc.) we can't wait to go back! We recommend it!

This was our second time staying at this sweet home. This time, we came during the summer and got to experience a completely different side of the property equally magical. The house is just as charming and peaceful as we remembered, and the summer season added a whole new layer of joy to our stay. The pool was a wonderful bonus refreshing, clean, and surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing under the sun after a day of exploring the region. Mari Carmen, our host, was truly exceptional. She provided all the attention and help we needed, always available and quick to respond whenever we reached out. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel so welcome. Absolutely lovely! The apartment, patio, pool, and gardens felt like a little slice of paradise. The housekeeper, Rosie, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She brought out toys for our daughter and invited us to have fruits from the garden. Thank you, Rosie!

Perfect location - charming house - absolute calm - stunning views

Nuno was a very helpful and communicative host. You can tell he cares a lot about the local community and area. The village itself was lovely.

Beautiful accommodation completely secluded in the idyll of nature with beautiful furnishings and great garden. The only problem when we arrived was that the door jammed, which can of course always happen in an old house. Maria Ana was quick to support us with advice and her restaurant recommendations of the area were also welcome. Highly recommended if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. In addition to the two extremely relaxed dogs that bark from time to time, you can only hear the rustling of the wind and the chirping of the birds. I'd love it again!

Elio was super responsive and flexible with check in. He also recommended some amazing spots to visit that were quiet. Overall super peaceful stay. Cannot recommend this place more if you have a car. The goat next door was the cherry on top!

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.

Vera is such an amazing host!! She was so responsive and gave clear instructions that made checking in and out a breeze. The location of her Airbnb was peaceful and the place was immaculate, clean and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend coming here for a peaceful getaway!!
