Macarena's old and lovingly restored oil mill is an absolute gem! Unfortunately, we only booked one night, I can only recommend staying longer because the place is not only harmoniously embedded in the surrounding Oliverhaine, but is also very suitable for day trips - for example to Ronda, to the sea or to the Caminito del rey. Macarena is a wonderful and warm host. She has preserved the mill from decay, restored it with a lot of attention to detail, creating a truly distinctive place whose history she wants to share with her guests to preserve it. You felt that the time stopped and immediately relaxed. The apartment is also very tastefully decorated and has a nice terrace. I could continue to rave endlessly now... Absolute recommendation!!

Very nice place to stay in Algodonales.

We spent a month in Paqui's beautiful apartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Andalusia. The apartment is spacious and very well suited for a long stay. Big bedrooms and a comfortable lounge room mean you can relax without feeling cramped. A fully equipped kitchen makes cooking on longer stays very easy, and the large outside patio area is a welcome feature. The apartment has comfortable beds, heating and cooling and the building is very quiet. Combined with good internet plus easy parking right outside the building, it makes for a very pleasant stay in the lovely village of Villanueva de San Juan. There are a few small shops to supply you with all the necessities, and the village has a lot of hiking trails with some great views. Paqui was always very quick to reply to questions and was a great host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
