My husband was in seventh heaven when we arrived with Penny’s lovely scones and rhubarb and ginger jam ! The accommodation was very comfortable and we enjoyed our couple of days in Arnside. We will definitely be back !

Such a beautiful place to stay, we got to meet a very friendly cat, 3 dogs and two lovely deers (who love apples & carrots) Our hut was clean & tidy same as the shower room & toilet (shower was amazing) We didn't get to actually meet Ruth but her mum liz was amazing we would definitely stay again!!! We had a fabulous stay at Hingabarn, a remote beautiful place, surrounded by wooded countryside with so many flower-filled meadows. Barn itself very clean with a well-equipped kitchen, and a very generous welcome pack! The drive up the track was fine, as per instructions just have to take it slowly and carefully. Thank you Paul and Barbara, we will be back!

Very comfortable and well-equipped cottage, perfect for a quiet break. Set in a very nice garden, a short walk from the sea and with cycle routes directly into the forest. Host was very friendly and helpful, we had an excellent time.

Absolutely perfect little bungalow with everything you need for a quick stop or a longer stay. Even better than the photos. Super easy to find and clear instructions of how to get there, where to park and how everything works. Kelly was lovely and I even got some dog pats. I really wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in.

We had a wonderful stay here and wished we could have stayed longer! Hanna was very responsive and helpful, the breakfast was great and the hut was comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here, an extra bonus was watching the sheep being herded in the morning and finding out more about the work on the farm. Thank you!

Had a lovely stay at the cabin. It was great and spacious. We loved the location and the calmness. The animals were a joy to watch. Stuart is a great host and the cafe was a great addition right on the farm. Overall a great holiday

A fantastic lodge. Very comfortable and located right next to the lake. The terrace is delightful to have drinks/ eat on and overlook a beautiful view. Kevin is a great host and kept us well informed.

The hut is a perfect place to relax and use as a base to explore- in stunning surroundings. Nicola is incredibly knowledgeable on the area and offers lots of help to plan walks, climbs everything else

We had a lovely time at the lodge, it had everything we could have needed and the views were beautiful. Angela was really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

The shepherds hut was a perfect little getaway in a beautiful location. Ideal to de-stress and unwind

really really lovely cabin, tucked away in the forest and your cabin is totally secluded so no one can see in. really peaceful to sit in the wood fired hot tub with nothing but the sounds of birds. the cabin had everything we needed and James & Sarah were always really helpful with giving local suggestions or helping stock up extra wood etc.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay in one of Hannah’s pods with our 3 & 1 year olds. It was so peaceful waking up to the sound of the beck, the boys loved playing in the water. We saw all of the British summer weather including a thunder storm during our stay - it was so cosy listening to this from inside our pod. The pod is well insulated and has everything you could possibly need, all very clean and clever use of space. The TV even has Netflix etc if needed - however we did struggle to get the WiFi to work in our pod to use this. There is also BBQ facilities and a lovely communal outdoor seating area - although it we didn’t stay long enough to use these. The games hut was a welcome addition to keep the boys entertained during some of the wet spells. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend ☺️ the Queen’s Head pub is close by and we enjoyed a gorgeous meal here. The tearoom in Troutbeck is also a must visit!

Absolutely perfect long weekend at Peasecroft. The place is gorgeous and so well kitted out. We took a projector and had a movie night - the blinds are the perfect projector screen ;-). We bagged three Wainwrights, did a boat tour, tried most of the pubs in Coniston, had a spa day at Low Wood bay... perfect weekend and amazing accommodation. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! Loved our stay here. Pod was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Hot tub was lovely. Surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, didn’t have any issues being next to the A69. Hosts were lovely and very helpful, would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again

Lovely wee getaway in a quiet location. A short 15 minute walk from town centre. Lovely views of the farmland and the hottub was brilliant too. Use the What 3 Words info provided and not google/Apple Maps for best directions.

We had an amazing stay at Amanda and Kevin’s beautiful cabin. We stayed for a long weekend and had a brilliant time, the cabin was even better than the pictures and is surrounded by gorgeous countryside. The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend and we loved the hot tub! The cabin was extremely clean and had useful kitchen appliances and breakfast essentials. We loved seeing the friendly horse in the nearby field and collecting eggs from the chickens! Amanda and Kevin were so friendly, proactive and went the extra mile by posting my friend’s shoes that she left at the cabin back to her. We really appreciated all the great local recommendations. I would particularly recommend this cabin because of its location, it’s really private but still within walking distance of the beach. Thank you so much Amanda and Kevin!
