Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Twechar is situated on the Forth and Clyde canal which is used for cycling, walking and kayaking. There are many walks in and around Twechar itself for instance the Roman Fort and easy access to the Trossachs.

The cosy and comfortable garden house is located in the beautiful farmhouse garden, surrounded by trees and sits next to a lovely glen. There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!

The Wash House is a beautiful, cosy cottage adjacent to a charming Schoolhouse built in 1857. This space was once the schools laundry facility. Character has been retained in this beautiful modern space. Our little slice of paradise is at the gate way to the highlands and 5 minutes from doune ( for those Outlander fans). It is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding area or even as a stop over on route to the highlands.
