Velouria is a lovely and tranquil place to stay in the Guerneville area nestled amongst the beautiful redwoods. Everything was exactly as described and had all we needed for our three night stay. I do recommend grabbing some firewood at one of the local wood spots (descriptions provided in the check in/rental information) or Safeway just a short drive into town - Even though it was mid June and warm during the day, having a fire at night was a great way to keep the residence toasty and cozy as it can cool down at night quite a bit! The hot tub was also a wonderful addition, clean and spacious and as others have sed, nearly floating amongst the trees on the lowest deck. Shane was our main contact during the stay and communication was friendly, clear, and super chill! Thank you so much!

This home is STUNNING. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, clean, comfy, and surrounded by redwood forest. Jacuzzi on the deck, outdoor shower, grill and patio funiture made for serene evenings. Would absolutely book again.

We had an excellent stay. All the amenities one could want: hot tub, full kitchen, grill, patio table, walking distance to town. Everything was in working order! Only 2 things to note: close to main road though gets quiet at night; and in the redwoods so darker than expected inside but fine with lights on and window shades open.

Chad was super responsive, getting back to me immediately texting in realtime on the app about my questions. The hottub exceeded my expectations- natural cedar, no chlorine, no plastics… nicely maintained, so rare for a rental! Beautiful to soak in the deck surrounded by redwoods, super peaceful . Even had a few hummingbirds buzz thru this morning. Thank you, Chad🙏🏽

We have stayed at Nathan’s cottage several times and each time is absolutely incredible! The cottage is so comfortable and beautifully decorated, the surroundings are stunning, and Nathan is so wonderful to communicate with. You just feel surrounded by the nature and beauty of the area. We spent so much time being outside on the lovely deck just soaking up the ambience of the outdoors. It’s such a treat to visit time after time.

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

The place was amazing!! My family and I have stayed at 2 properties by Russian River Getaways and both are simply magical! This is the perfect place to have a relaxing retreat. The patio was built right along a babbling brook which is the perfect sound track to a nature filled weekend. Opening the windows at night to hear it allowed us to have amazing sleep each night. I especially enjoyed the trail around the brook and spring. You can go further up into the mountain than you'd expect on the property. There's a hammock and lots of chairs and tables at scenic parts along the trail. There's even an outdoor cot perfectly placed for a mid day nap next to the stream. Obviously, the hot tub led to a perfect ending each evening on such an enjoyable vacation of hiking and wine tasting. If you love the outdoors, wine and a peaceful atmosphere than this is the perfect area for a getaway and you can't go wrong with this lovely rustic retreat being your homebase!

I had a lovely and relaxing stay at Chad’s cozy and well appointed home surrounded by beautiful redwoods. This is a great spot for those traveling with pets; the deck is secure and the neighborhood is nice for walking. I appreciated having a 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate the neighborhood with ease. Bed is super comfy and the hot tub was appreciated after hiking in the area, of which there are a variety of options. I hope to return one day!

We had a wonderful stay at David's TreeHouse Cabin! The redwoods surrounding it set the perfect backdrop for a morning on the front deck or a night on the back patio stargazing. The floor-to-ceiling windows and skylight really make you feel up in the trees, and we really loved cozying up by the wood fireplace in the evenings. Bathroom is small but gets the job done. Relaxing and a perfect retreat!

This sweet home was everything I was looking for and more. The location is incredible, so close to hiking trails, the coast, cute towns, and great restaurants. Absolutely loved how quiet and peaceful the home was a long with the beautiful natural lighting and decor. We felt right at home and wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend Megan's home to all!

I experienced one of the most relaxing peaceful trips in all my travels. The bed was so comfortable I slept well past my usual wake time. The cabin is nestled in a clump of trees close to the home but you have complete privacy. I enjoyed the hot tub on the deck of the home but this too is very private behind a beautiful wisteria bush. The host was very quick to answer any questions I had, I was traveling alone as a single female, I felt very safe and relaxed staying here. Was able to walk a beautiful trail they have cleared and benches located throughout. Relaxed in the hammock while reading and listening to the birds. The morning espresso machine was perfect and Daphne will make you breakfast! There is a small fridge and microwave. The shower had plenty of hot water great pressure. It is small but extremely cozy! All of this and the beautiful ocean just 10 mins away! Visited the botanical garden and all the cute little shops in town. A perfect weekend retreat! I will be back

We had an absolutely amazing stay! Melinh’s cabin is the ultimate getaway from city life. It's peaceful, quiet, and so cozy—it felt like a dream! The views from the backyard are breathtaking, and we even spotted deer wandering by. It was simply magical and a truly unforgettable experience!

Loved staying at Lorri & Cookies' lovely home! It was so clean and well kept inside. They welcomed us with freshly baked cookies, wine, and lovely notes. Truly a hidden gem! We'd 100% stay again. Only note - the sun room gets a bit cold! So just be sure to use the extra covers that Lorri / Cookie provide :)

We had an absolutely wonderful three night stay at this cozy and beautifully styled cabin. The location is perfect, nestled in the woods with beautiful surroundings we immediately felt relaxed. The owners have truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and memorable, and they were super responsive to anything we needed. Our favorite thing was the fire and the hammock, where we spent long mornings just laying together and watching the trees sway above us. The wood burning stove made for the most romantic nights, and the jacuzzi was such a relaxing treat after our adventures. The interior is stunning with thoughtful touches and design choices that made it feel both modern but still cozy and welcoming. We’re already planning our next trip here and definitely for a longer stay. We couldn’t find a single thing to critique. It was just perfect. Highly recommend this gem!

We enjoyed this home so much! It was so relaxing and peaceful to stay here, right in the middle of the redwoods. The location is super convenient and parking is not hard as long as you are driving up with a 4WD like Jessica suggested. Jessica is a great host too - she's very responsive and provides clear instructions that make the whole process smooth and stress free.

What a stunning and beautiful spot, only about a 5-6 minute drive into town, an a 15 minute drive up the coast to other beautiful hiking spots. My friends and I came up for a relaxing, quiet weekend and got exactly what we wanted. Laurie was a great host, I appreciated all the reminders and little notes she had for me. This was my very first time making the Airbnb reservation and Laurie was so accommodating and kind and incredibly communicative! The space was beautiful, clean, had fun games and books. Every little amenity provided to us really just made the experience even greater and I’m grateful for being able to go here!

Amazing place to stay by trees and river!! Cozy, clean, comfortable! Quiet, peaceful and can also see lots of animal beings walking and flying across! Loved our stay here!

The Treehouse was exactly what we needed. A peaceful retreat in a beautiful location. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hot tub was a real treat! I appreciated all of the cute labels throughout the home that helped us locate items and replace them in the correct spots. I would definitely return. Thank you!

We had a really lovely stay here! The hosts are very nice and responsive. The house is decorated and set up thoughtfully, and we were very comfortable (even with a toddler). The deck was a wonderful space to hang out on. The area isn't super walkable, but it's close to downtown/not far from hikes. I would definitely stay again!
