Loved the Love Shack. Super cosy. We did use the small heater on wood and this brought even more cosiness. Yard is gorgeous with clusters of beautiful red woods. Loved the outdoor shower, sink and the compostable bathroom. Great experience! Madeline and her husband are very nice and welcoming! Thank you!

Raul’s place is awesome! Wish we could have stayed much longer, but looking forward to booking again in the future.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The location and views from the cottage are second to none! 😍 The hot tub was wonderful and watching the sunsets from the rockers was so relaxing. We come to Ft Bragg quite often and this is the best place we've ever stayed. We loved everything about the place, and felt so relaxed and at home. Eve was so friendly and welcoming. She was very responsive to inquiries, and provided great recommendations for beaches close by. Eve, Thank you for sharing your wondeful location with us. We will be booking here again in the very near future. 🥰

An absolutely beautiful home to visit!! Close enough to where you can drive to Mendocino or Fort Bragg for dinner but not be right in town. Beautiful sun room and deck. Everything was so homey feeling.

Stayed at Margaret’s place for my birthday this year and it was lovely! Would absolutely stay again. Hummingbird haven is right — started every morning with the delicious provided breakfast on the patio, watching countless hummingbirds zoom by through the gorgeous little flower garden. Mendocino has been a favorite getaway of mine since 6th grade camp over 20 years ago, but Margaret’s thorough recommendations still managed to introduce me to some new things.

Absolutely beautiful spot for a relaxing couple of days outside of the city. Gorgeous property surrounded by tall tress - if you're looking for a peaceful getaway this should be at the top of your list. Looking for an opportunity to return.

As usual my stay at the SeaRiver house was fantastic. It is by far my favorite place to stay on the north coast . Had amazingly clear weather the first 2 days and nights. The views are unparalleled from the home. I also was able to star gaze the first 2 nights - highly recommend doing this if you are lucky to have a clear night. Peter is an extraordinary host that goes above and beyond if there are any little glitches. 5 stars hardly tells the story of this home.

what a beautiful home inside and out!! the view was stunning even though we had some fog during our stay. every part of the home is intentional with so much care to detail. I would stay again in a heartbeat and I would stay for longer. we were very sad to leave including the dog 🐶

Jaquelyn was a wonderful host and has created such a lovely space. The cottage was cozy and clean - exactly what I was looking for during a weekend away from the city. I look forward to visiting again!

Jonathan's place is a dreamy cottage tucked away very close to the Van Damme state park with breathtaking views of the Van Damme beach. The house was very cozy and thoughtfully designed. The deck is a beautiful place to say hi to the birds and do your morning stretches. We actually saw the Milky Way from the front yard on a clear night! Jonathan was super responsive throughout the stay. We had a water emergency and Jonathan was able to dispatch help fast. True mark of an exceptional host is not only to make it a good place to stay but to act fast to resolve things in case of an issue. A peaceful, tidy, beautiful place to stay managed by a remarkable host.

The cottage is in a lush green dense forest surrounding. Very quiet and peaceful. Inside of the house was clean, very well equipped with kitchen utensils, and had good quality bedding. Pay attention to the instructions sent by the host to find the house as the final dirt road to the house isn’t available on google maps. The house is dog friendly. They even had a dog bowl to use. There’s also a fully fenced backyard to leave your pet off leash. Overall, it’s a beautiful place to stay. 15 minutes away from Mendocino. With proactive and friendly host. Will definitely comeback here.

Nika's place, the Artist Studio was well equipped, clean and warm as outside temps dipped into the lower 30's. Great outside shower accessible from the inside bathroom, so it didn't fell like going outside at all. We had a great time. We were three which worked out well.

Peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Be sure to plan your meals though. The place is so nice you would like to stay there for a sunset dinner or sunrise breakfast but due to the lack of an oven/ stove or bbq you have to eat out. Or master microwave cooking like we did. Otherwise simply heavenly place to stay.

The Treehouse is the perfect place to stay while visiting Mendocino. The location is close to town but still in the forest area giving it the best of both worlds for vacationers. Immaculate, inviting modern decor, every amenity you could want in your own home, outside spa, comfy porch seating, etc. adds to its charm. Would highly recommend this home with no exceptions! Truly made our time in this area extra special.

Jacob’s cabin was exactly as listed. Accurate description of amenities and clear instructions on how to get to the cabin. It’s a small space, but it has just what you need for a short stay. Service was spotty but internet was always fast and reliable. The furnace they provided kept the cabin warm. The mini fridge and microwave were nice additions. I wasn’t a fan of the outdoor shower (a personal preference honestly) but my boyfriend enjoyed it. The shower felt private enough, and there was no shortage of hot water. However keep in mind there is no light at the shower late at night - we came in late one night past 11pm and it was very dark, so we had to use a flashlight. Another night we showered closer to 9pm and there was a light on near the floor - so perhaps they turn off the light past a certain time? But I recommend bringing a flashlight just in case. Also there are no blackout shades (just regular ones) so if you’re sensitive to the light I recommend an eye mask!
