Cabin vacation rentals in Albany

We went for a quick weekend getaway with our two dogs and absolutely loved William and Liz’s home, we didn’t want to leave!! I loved the privacy, how peaceful it was, and of course the views! Our dogs enjoyed all the free space to run as well. We unfortunately had a lot of rain when we stayed, causing our tour of howes cavern to be canceled due to flash flooding. We were rescheduled which affected our check out time, but they were so sweet and offered us to check out whenever we liked and even offered us an extra night to stay! (We wish we could have). It was a wonderful weekend getaway and we all can’t wait to go back! :)

The cabin was one of the best places that we’ve stayed at through Airbnb! It had everything that you would want and the location was fantastic. It is a 10 minute drive to Manchester, a really cute town, and very close to many hiking options. The completely fenced in yard was great for our dog. We loved our stay here!

Had a beautiful stay with my parents and sibling -- we loved watching movies on the large projector, cooking meals together in the lovely kitchen and taking in the serenity of the area. Michael was very responsive, and we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay in the Catskills!

The A-Frame on Pudding Hill was everything we were looking for — cozy, private, and super romantic. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a little tricky to turn on at first haha, but once it was going, it was perfect. Thank you, Lenny, for being such a thoughtful host. We felt truly cared for, and we’d love to return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy getaway!

What a truly lovely sanctuary. We spent five wonderful nights in this cabin. The lake was beautiful, and everything was so quiet. Kitchen has everything you need plus! The decor was beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful vacation, even though it rained almost every day, we didn't care just relaxing in this cabin, reading books and playing games, was well worth it. Thank you so much for this beautiful location. On a side note, we had a campfire one night and the Loons were serenading us. I taped them and have listened to it many times since returning.

Amanda is a great host! Clean and cozy cabin. Everything we needed was right there and the backyard view was amazing. If you’re looking to stay in the mountains I highly recommend you stay with Amanda!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The views from the home and the surrounding area were amazing and we found ourselves just slowing down a lot on our drive there to take it all in. Our favorite parts were the hot tub which was so relaxing especially with the backdrop of nature behind us and the amazing kitchen where we cooked all of our meals each day. Most things were around 20 minutes out so it was a very stay at home stay so we really appreciated the effort they made at making the home the main attraction. The host was very communicate and helped solve a minor issue we had right away which was a great experience. Our least favorite part was having to leave! Overall we look forward to coming back again in the future to such a cozy home.

We found that the place was exactly as described. Everything was very good. We loved your recliners out on the back, looking out the sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. It was very peaceful calm. We were able to get one fire in on Friday night. At the campfire was so peaceful and quiet and serene. Looking across the lake at the cabins with their lights on was just a beautiful relaxing time. We want to thank Barry and Shirley very much and I’m about 99% sure that we will be back again. Thanks again.

I absolutely had a lovely time at Pat & Kelley's bnb. It was situated right by the river stream and the deck at the back leads upto the stream with the sound of running water and birds greeting you at all times. I planned my proposal to my partner at that spot as well and Hannah, Pat and Kelly were instrumental in making it a success. I will always hold a special place in my heart for this stay. We had a really lovely stay at this cabin in Boiceville. It rained every day during our trip, but honestly, we didn’t mind—it made the space feel extra cozy. We spent our time relaxing indoors, reading, cooking, and just enjoying the slower pace. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was tucked away enough to feel peaceful, but still a short drive to Esopus Creek and Phoenicia, which we enjoyed exploring when the rain let up. The host was helpful and easy to communicate with, and everything about the stay went smoothly. If you’re looking for a calm, quiet retreat in the Catskills—even on rainy days—this spot is a great pick.

Would absolutely stay again! Really loved the way they've updated the space but kept the classic touches of the house. Huge well appointed kitchen with everything you could need. Peaceful outdoor space with lots of privacy. And overall a very spacious house that feels like you could have a big group without getting in each others way. Ryan & Lauren were super on it. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I know the area super well so have a good perspective on location and quality of available accommodation etc. Mark and Lori’s place was standout on all dimensions. Close to both Woodstock and Saugerties which is great for dining and social options. Location is safe, pretty, peaceful and convenient. The house itself is immaculate and charming with a lot of nice character touches. It’s well appointed, and even if you choose to dine in, they have supplied all that one could need. A special place and if I need accommodation again I would book in a heartbeat.

Such a cute spot! We only spent one night but could have spent many more. The home itself is adorable and had lots of thoughtful touches. The beds were super comfy! They had some board games we ended up playing late into the night. Highly recommended!

Yannick's place was a fantastic place to stay in the Catskills! It's located in an ideal location close to hiking, breweries, restaurants, etc. The house itself is clean and well decorated and they provide pretty much everything you need. My only gripe would be that there is no microwave (however, this is noted in the listing, so it was not a surprise); while I don't mind heating things up the old school way on a stove, there are certain things that just heat better in a microwave. And if a microwave is not provided, at least have some better nonstick pans (they were a bit of a pain bc everything stuck to them). In addition, it was hard to actually get to the stream (I think things were just overgrown and maybe it needs a trim back). But the beds are SO comfortable and overall the property is very serene, especially driving over the little bridge to the house with the stream. I would definitly recommend the place to anyone. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Robert is a genuinely friendly and accommodating host. He was super excited to give us a tour once we arrived. He was also thoughtful enough to leave a little something for us as my wife and I went for our wedding anniversary. If you like a home in the mountains with an artistic flair and beautiful gardens, this place will blow your mind.

We had a wonderful stay up in the cabin! very clean, comfortable, quaint and cozy. Hazel's place had everything we wanted and more for a nice couple's getaway in nature. Tannersville is a very charming town with sweet people and gorgeous nature. we will definitely be coming again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Fil & Ellie’s place, it made it the highlight of our trip. From the minute we walked in, it felt so calm. The place is beautiful with all the amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, fireplace. We’ve been to the Catskills countless times and this is the best experience due to the wonderful stay. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful stay at Natasha’s home! The trees surrounding the house are so majestic and the space is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. We got great sleep, as the beds were super comfy, and we can’t wait to come back again soon.

When I decided in February to take three weeks away from my home city to spend time in the mountains, I wasn't sure I'd come a place that ticked all the boxes: would let me bring my dog, was on top of hiking by not terrifically far from essential businesses, was within a 4-5 hour drive from home, had the comforts I knew I needed and-- would also let me bring my cat? What did I find? This total gem of a cabin. My animals and I were able to make ourselves comfortable, the views of the lush trees were instantly calming, the bed was super comfortable, and somehow even though it felt like the middle of no where, was a 30 min drive from so many beautiful villages, trailheads, and other Catskills goodness. Mark was super on top of communications, helped me out when I needed it, and made sure I had what we needed. Highly recommend a stay here-- can't beat the charm and being truly surrounded by stunning nature.

This is a really wonderful place to stay. The booking process and check-in was super easy. Nathan was helpful and communicative. The house itself it beautifully designed and functional. It feels like a designer did it. The downstairs is spacious and the upstairs bedroom is gorgeous. Plus there is a really nice covered deck. The outdoor area is lush and there is a fire pit which is a nice touch. It is private. Nearby there is good hiking and it is fairly close to Woodstock. Highly recommend this place!

We had a delightful time during our annual Memorial Day Catskills trip. Katie's cabin is beautifully decorated. You can tell it's the home of a photographer - every corner is picture perfect. The color scheme and charm of the cabin is gorgeous, and the skylights illuminated the space so nicely in the mornings and throughout the day. Wet weather kept us from spending too much time in the outdoor living spaces, but the indoor space was so lovely, we didn't mind staying in at all. Katie was an accommodating host and checkout was a breeze. Thank you, Katie, and to everyone else - enjoy your stay at one of the most charming places you'll find for your Catskills getaway!

Robert and Sandra were so helpful in making sure we were able to get the experience we were hoping for. The cabin is beautiful and we enjoyed looking through the photos of its construction. It was clean, comfortable, and very private.
