Vacation rentals with breakfast in Akaroa Harbour

The Sumner location was great for access to the beach and hiking trails. The place was very clean and spacious for the two of us. Megan responded to a couple of questions I had immediately. Highly recommended

A lovely place to stay, easy to get to the Airforce muesum and into town. A really comfortable bed and home, We felt very safe and looked after.

Excellent well appointed home with all the added extras that make your stay just that much better. Perfect for a larger group with 4 bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen and great living space opening out to an outdoor deck. Close to Northlands shopping mall. Would definitely stay again if we had the chance.

This was our second time staying at Rob’s place and once again, it’s an easy five stars from me! Rob’s BnB is beautifully presented with everything you could possibly need while away from home – large, comfy beds, quality hand soaps and toiletries, and a thoughtful spread of continental breakfast goodies including cereals, bread, spreads, and even a pod coffee machine with a milk frother. Such a treat! One standout touch – Rob even provides a yoga mat for guests who travel light or forget theirs. Although we visited in winter, the private yard looks like a great spot to relax in warmer months, complete with an outdoor fireplace, hot tub, and even a lawn bowling set for a bit of fun. The location is super convenient – just a short drive to the main areas of Christchurch, and if you’re using public transport, there’s a bus stop right outside. The tall privacy fence creates a peaceful, quiet environment despite being so central. Highly recommend Rob’s place to anyone visiting!

A very warm, private, and immaculate place. Set back from the road with great privacy and beautifully maintained throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, the smart TVs are a bonus, and the bathroom is modern with a good shower. Very responsive and welcoming host. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for a week and loved it. The house is amazing and exactly as listed. The hosts were also amazing. Had a problem one day with the hot water and Nina was there within the hour to fix it, they were very friendly and were helpful during my stay, couldn't recommend this place more

Second time staying with Denise at the lovely beach house and as before , we had a wonderful time. Especially loved the personal touch with a note to welcome us on arrival. Thank you!

We had a lovely and unique stay at Brent’s. He was incredibly caring and detail-oriented. He had the heater on before our arrival to ensure the apartment was cozy, and was very considerate letting us take our time at checkout if needed. It made us feel welcomed and relaxed. He even came out personally to say goodbye and wish us well for the rest of our trip. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-hosted stay!

It was the best apartment which we ever rent! Big, light, comfortable and very nice it just several words which I want to say about it. I strongly recommend it for everyone.

I had a great overnight stay in this cozy little nest. Comfy bed, warm room, quiet, down a driveway so away from the street, nice neighbourhood. Room had everything I needed plus nice extras like the bowl of fruit. Host was friendly and helpful, and had put the heater on prior to my arrival. Many thanks.

I had a long stay here and highly recommend the apartment. It is very central and has great bars and restaurants nearby. It is also very quiet as it is on a rarely used road. Mary was very helpful with check-in and had lots of reccomendations of places to try.

Nadia was a great communicator and gave clear instructions to find her place. The apartment was warm and cosy when we arrived on a cold Christchurch day. It had everything we needed including a lovely homemade breakfast of muesli, fruit, yogurt and toast. The apartment is situated on the hills above Christchurch for good views, probably not suitable if you don't have a car. Parking is on a quiet street.

A beautiful space with friendly hosts.

Excellent location. Easy walk along a river into core area. Karen and Rob are exceptional hosts. They saved a parking space for me and made me feel right at home. Rob even walked with me a bit to get me headed in right direction. Clean and comfortable. Only had one night with them, but would go back in a heartbeat.

Rhonda and Wal were our hosts not Tim and Jacqui. Rhonda and Wal were outstanding hosts, they are friendly, proactive and helpful. Highly recommended Airbnb hosts!

The house is clean and tidy, the host are friendly.

Karens place was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a very wet evening and a bit miserable outside but Karen had the heat on and an electric blanket on in my bed when I arrived. The bed was very comfortable and it was a quiet and peaceful area in addition to being only about a 15 minutes walk from the centre of Christchurch. I got a very good continental breakfast and in addition Karen did me some eggs for breakfast. I would stay again if I am in Christchurch.

My dad and I loved staying here! Both the spaces were very cosy and clean. The freshly baked bread and cookies were a very thoughtful addition. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Shirley’s place for a week and we enjoyed our stay. Everything’s nice and tidy. We felt at home, although I was bit worried at first because my husband and my daughter don’t speak English. But it turned out just fine and actually they enjoyed their stay too!

Chryssie’s place had an outstanding view of the city, even with clouds that we brought with us! It was a pleasure to meet Chryssie who was both friendly and welcoming. The light breakfast was perfect for our early departure.

Lovely place in a perfect location. Had a great breakfast while chatting with some fellow travellers. Easy walk to the botanic gardens, museums and shops, yet the B&B feels tucked away and cozy.
