We had a lovely stay at the house, the host was very helpful with useful advice about the area, and he was very good with the communication throughout our stay. It was a big plus that he came over on the second day to welcome us, and drove us around to get familiar with the area, and helped us at the supermarket getting the ingredients for Nishani’s amazing curry! We are so grateful for the quick response when one of us was stang, and we could take her for medical care promptly. Nishani and Anusha were very sweet, and tried their best to accommodate all our requests. We had them preparing breakfast and dinner every day, which was convinient and delicious! They were making curry for the grown up, and less adventurous meals for our 2 and 4 years old ☺️ The gardens, the pool and the house are truly beautiful. We saw monkeys, mongeese, palm tree squirrels, king fishers, lots of birds, dragon flies and butterflies. Having some air-coned rooms was a huge advantage.

Wonderful spacious place with fresh renovation and mesmerizing ocean view. Very easy to to contact your host and staff. Lots of places around, 1 minute to the ocean. There is a minimum set of detergents - shower gels and shampoos. Clean enough, but the kitchen is starting to feel a little musty. For this season, it can look a little expensive and I want to expect more details at this price category - slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes, more towels, shaving accessories, but these are more points for improvement, still this is an apartment, not a hotel. 11/10 :)

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine’s cottage. Location was good; walkable to the beach. It is hard to fully explain just how spacious the cottage is - every room is large and well thought out, even the outside veranda is enormous. The children loved the little pool, it was absolutely perfect to end our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you.

The place is great. bed is comfortable, kitchen well equipped and very well located. a few minutes walk to the main beach and 15 minutes to Secret Beach. Prabodi is incredibly kind and helpful, and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

We had the most wonderful family Christmas at Villa Olu. The villa exceeded our expectations - the photos don’t do it justice! It was the most perfect setting for relaxing, having fun, playing games and not to mention the incredible family meals prepared and cooked by Kumara and Nadi!Experiencing the delicious traditional Sri Lankan cuisine was a huge highlight. Kumara could not do enough to help us - book tuk tuks, arrange massages at the villa and arrange transport. The villa is incredibly peaceful yet only ten minutes from Galle where we enjoyed visiting shops, sites and cafes. We would not hesitate to stay at Villa Olu again, what a super family holiday!

What a relaxing five day stay in such a beautiful villa. The animals, pool and ocean!! The staff were absolutely beautiful - generous with their time, attentive and exceeded all our expectations. They made our stay beyond enjoyable and comfortable. We were so spoiled and, of course, well fed!

A great stay by the ocean. I loved going to sleep to the sound of the waves and watching the turtles right out the front. Lots of food and bar options within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time at Luca's place. The house has everything you need for a great rest. You can observe the few animals that roam freely in the garden. The pool is a big plus in the heat of Sri Lanka. The house is incredibly clean and the people who work there are very nice. Nimesh will help you with any questions you may have, you can contact them anytime. He took us to exchange money, showed us where the best places to dine were and arranged all the excursions for us. He also took care of our trip and picked us up from the airport. Throughout, we were able to enjoy the wonderful dinners prepared by Nirosha including an excellent seafood barbecue. The house is in a very good location: only a short walk to the beach and all the restaurants/shops. Feel free to book your stay in this house, it's a real little paradise.

We are extremely happy to have found this amazing house. It was exactly what we were looking for to recharge at the end of a long road trip, close to the beach and with every comfort. The host was very welcoming and friendly and he also helped us to organise a surprise to two of our friends travelling with us that just married. The house was better that the description and very clean. We totally loved it. We also received a welcoming juice at the check-in. Beds are very comfortable, each room has air conditioning and ventilator. The living is very cozy and the kitchen has everything to cook. Totally recommended and when we’ll be back in Sri Lanka we will definitely come back to this house.

This was the perfect stay for South Sri Lanka, just back from Weligama by only a few metres, so perfect walking distance to beach and restaurants. The lake setting is beautiful and we were hosted beautifully! Taxi organised and a scooter for two days! Brilliantly beautiful and would have stayed for longer!!!

We had the most incredible stay with Ishu and her wonderful family! From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family—welcomed with open arms by Mum, Dad, Granddad, Grandma, and their lovely daughters. Traveling with a 1-year-old, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our little one was so well cared for, and the kids played together like lifelong friends. The house itself was spacious with a big garden that made our stay even more special. It’s just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, and having Mama’s Café around the corner was a fantastic bonus for great local food. Ishu also speaks excellent English, which made communication effortless. On top of everything, they arranged airport transfer and helped us get around with ease—such a thoughtful touch that made our trip stress-free. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming stay with a true home-away-from-home feeling, look no further. We can’t wait to return! Bohoma sthuthi :)

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

Our stay at the apartment in Sri Lanka was simply unforgettable! A huge thank you to our wonderful host, who did everything possible to make us feel at home. He was incredibly friendly and responsive, always ready to help with any questions. We had a delicious breakfast, prepared with love. The host even showed us a monkey in his garden, which was a real surprise! And when we got sunburned, he immediately offered us aloe vera. He also helped us with transfer organization, which saved us from unnecessary hassle. The apartments were clean, with regular housekeeping. The place is spacious and also has a terrace with wonderful view. We are very grateful for such a warm welcome! We recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a peaceful and carefree vacation in Sri Lanka.

Shamil was responsive and helpful. We were in a bit of situation to find last minute accommodation. Shamil was helpful to enable the check in at 10pm. This was a huge relief for us. A great host!

Ruwan is an extremely kind person who is very keen to ensure that you do not miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (it was the same every day). Ruwan organized transportation for us to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was very nice too. We took a trip to the turtles and to Galle together with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was something like a tour guide who would also give us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret spending 4 nights with Ruwan and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

Someone says that the road is noisy, yes, there is a road, but guys, you didn't come here to sit at home, get up and explore, so that nothing wakes you up at night! Amazing place, location and people, thank you!

Amazing host and the space was extremely homely. It was picturesque and exactly as the photos advertised. The amenities were functional and the space in itself was well maintained and clean. It was an Eco-friendly abode. It was a calm and peaceful stay. A little away from the hustle and bustle but the distance to other restaurants and shops were pretty close by and walkable. Transportation was also easily available.

Jula and Suranga (whose house it is and who lives there with his lovely family) were super responsive and proactive in communication. The house is right across the street from the beach and just a few minutes' drive from nice places like Shanti Shanti or Wijaya Beach. Suranga and his family had prepared a welcome snack when we arrived and even invited us to a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast one morning. The apartment is on the top floor of Suranga's house and looks very much like in the pictures. Note that the stairs are a bit steep, but the place has a nice small kitchen and good rooms. Also, their neighbour Assanta was a super reliable Tuk Tuk driver while we stayed there.

Wonderful stay and the property was amazing with access to the beach right outside the back gate. Couldn’t recommend enough!

A lovely place! The staff was attentive to us. We got sick during the stay and were helped day or night. The accommodation is clean, very pleasant and peaceful. We were greeted with a glass of juice. Sincerely recommend
