Fabulous 2 bed house! Located 2 miles from town. Host Sule was great communicator & helpful. Would highly recomend!!! Will definately be returning to York and will stay at Sule's place. York is a beautiful place.

Home from home. What a wonderful place! It was our first time visiting York and we had such a brilliant time, we will definitely be back! And we wouldn’t stay anywhere else other than Graeme’s place! The accommodation was within walking distance of the town centre and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The place was spotless throughout, the bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen and the shower had good pressure. We were enjoying ourselves so much we ended up staying extra night! Thanks again Graeme for a lovely stay :)

Silvia's home is very comfortable, clean and welcoming with everything we needed. She's a great host and encouraged us to get in touch if we had any questions. The house is in a good location for visiting York on foot and we had no problem parking on the street. There are supermarkets nearby and lots of places to eat within a 10 minute walk. The city was a really interesting to visit and I would highly recommend a stay at Sylvia's house!

A beautiful house, great location for the station and walking into town but with good parking for two cars. Great communication and responsiveness when the smoker alarm battery decided to chirp at us.

Lovely house very clean and tidy, lots of dvds and tv has free view, Netflix etc, very well equipped has everything you need, great location for us visiting Bramham horse trials. Will definitely stay again.

It is difficult to express how great the house and area was. Gaynor made us feel welcome and almost valued friends even though we actually only met her face to face on our last morning. Everything in the house worked and was geared to making our stay at the house enjoyable. The information about the city and places to visit was very comprehensive and useful to us as first time visitors to York. Thanks so much Gaynor.

Lovely clean flat with all amenities-super extra touches with fresh flowers, milk, biscuits etc. Great local maps with information about shops, restaurants and attractions. In fact the whole experience really could not have been better!

Apartment was gorgeous. 3 big bedrooms with tvs. Huge living area with gorgeous kitchen that had everything. 2 modern bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Parking at back of property big enough for 2 cars. Also an electric charge point if needed. Little court yard area to sit out in when weather nice. Nice park over the road and apartment next to a COOP grocery store. Chinese take away on same road. 15 min walk into York which is easy to walk. Loads of car parks if you prefer to drive. York is well worth a visit. Loads to do and see. Tons of restaurants including a few good traditional Indian/nepalese which didn’t disappoint. We came with our kids age 21 and 15 and two of their friends. Would definitely stay again maybe before Xmas as York is one of the best Xmas markets we’ve been to in the past. Host was responsive and everything about the apartment was perfect. The key lock box made it easy to check in. Would highly recommend we had a great time thank you 🤩

Lovely place, everything you could want. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, soft fluffy towels, great balcony. Really appreciated the milk,tea and coffee and cooking oil etc. Nicely laid out apartment with some personlised paintings on the walls We really enjoyed our stay would highly recommend.

Our stay in York was just what we wanted. The flat had everything we needed and provided a perfect location for visiting York with it being a short walk from the minster and town centre. The entire time Melanie was attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to provide detailed instructions for accessing the flat. Highly recommend this property and the host for a weekend away to explore the city!

The accomodation was immaculate. Couldnt be in a better location for walking into York...part of the city wall walk just outside apartmemts. Decorated for xmas which was a lovely touch. Cosy and warm... Excellent communication. Would definatly recommend .

Lovely spot, we were there for 2 days and found it most relaxing - some good pubs within 2/3 miles and plenty of restaurants in Ripon. Plenty to do - we did a few good walks and visited Fountains Abbey, Ripon and Thirsk all writhin 30 minutes or less. Apartment is great and very comfortable.

From booking our stay at Ashley’s apartment right through to check-out, our experience was excellent. Ashley was always responsive when we had a question both before and during our visit. The apartment was perfect for what we needed: clean, modern and within a 15 minute walk of York’s key landmarks, such as the cathedral and the Shambles. An absolute gem and would definitely look to book again when we next visit York. Thank you Ash for a wonderful stay!

That saying “The Pictures don’t do it justice” is exactly true for Diane’s apartment - the pictures looked beautiful but the reality is even better. Very clean and everything you need. Great location and such a beautiful town with friendly people - we got the train into York one day, the station was less than a 10 min walk (station cafe is AMAZING) - all in all a great stay and hope we can come back again soon - thanks Diane! X

Beautifully presented one bedroom space with ample bathrooms and living area. Close to the centre of Malton, pubs and restaurants are an easy walk and the train station is just a short walk which makes a day trip to York super easy.

Annie and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Harrogate. This was largely down to The Tree Trove apartment and our host Maureen. The Tree Trove was exactly as described on the Airbnb web site, better in fact! Maureen welcomed us via messaging and remained accessible throughout our stay. The instructions that Maureen sent us were detailed and very helpful, so accessing the apartment was easy. On arrival, initial impressions were that the apartment appeared beautiful. Well kept and very comfortable. Maureen had even thought about little things like leaving milk in the fridge, biscuits on the counter and a selection of tea and coffee, which made for a very warm welcome after a long journey. The flat was nice and peaceful and the neighbors appeared friendly. The apartment is situated centrally within Harrogate, making access to the town centre, train station and other amenities very convenient. I would thoroughly recommend The Tree Trove and Maureen as host.

Perfection!! Clive's place is a wonderful place to stay. Clive and Julie are great hosts, friendly, helpful, accommodating and very welcoming. The welcome 'goodies' were very appreciated and tasty. The unit is very tastefully decorated and well appointed, the bed is super comfy and the shower is large with good water pressure. The outdoor area is a real delight, we sat and watched the ducks, the other birds (saw kingfishers!) and the squirrels. We had everything we needed for a happy, memorable stay. There are lots of walks in the area, plus a number of interesting things to see and do. It's an easy train ride to York, Harrogate and Leeds and the station is a short walk from the unit. There are a lot of pubs and cafes within easy walk - The Half Moon pub does delicious pizza! Overall, we very highly recommend Clive's unit and would return often if we could.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. Absolutely stunning property with everything you would need for a stay away already in place! It’s just as it looks in the images, very spacious, absolutely stunning bathrooms and full functioning kitchen with all the cutlery and dishes you need! Loved the guest book with all details and instructions for our stay! Can very much tell the host has a lot of attention to detail! Every part of the space was so well thought out, aesthetically pleasing, whilst also being highly functional! I will definitely be looking to book again for my next trip to Harrogate!
