The house was even better than we imagined, it had beautiful views, it is located in a quiet place and it came with everything we expected and more: the kitchen had everything you need not only for a short stay, but also to cook everything you need. It was also equipped with coffee, olive oil, salt, etc., which we didn't expect. Lucy was kind enough to bring some traditional bread the first morning, which we highly appreciated. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the house big enough for a group of 8, and the 2 bathrooms were fully equipped. The only down-side is that the individual mattresses are a bit hard, but it was fine. It has a beautiful garden which is perfect for breakfast, and we felt that (if it's both physically and legally possible) a plastic pool would be an extra add-on that would improve even more the property. Staying at this place and waking up every day to the beautiful ocean felt like a dream, we'll absolutely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Rui's! The house is situated in a peaceful, quiet village, where nothing can be heard except chirping birds and cackling chickens. The balcony is perfect for enjoying the view of the sea. The house is very spacious, very large kitchen, large bedroom, living room, nice bathroom - everything very nice and extremely clean. The location is perfect to explore the whole east of the island. Rui also gave us some tips for excursions and shopping, and was always available to us. We couldn't have imagined a better place to stay. Thank you!!

Dino’s home is one of the top three AirBnBs that we have stayed in, and we have stayed at over 30+ AirBnBs from Peru to Portugal, Europe and the US. Moreover, he is easily the best host we have ever stayed with. He was waiting for us when we arrived and spent 30 minutes showing us where everything was and how to use it. I would strongly recommend his home to anyone looking for a beautiful home in a beautiful location.

This house was a dream if you are looking for an authentic, peaceful older house experience in a small town on the northern less travelled end of San Miguel. The location overlooking the ocean with views out of the kitchen and living room area and outdoor porch and grassy yard area is breathtaking as you overlook a field that flows right to the ocean with beautiful cliffs visible as you look down the coast with sunsets to the left. The house is cozy and well kept with nooks and quirks that give it a wonderful unique character. We were a group of 5 that needed 3 bedrooms that gave us more than enough space. The center of Achada is very authentic and not touristy and has a small store or two and cafe that has most of what you need for food and any supplies. Finally you can get to much of what you want to see and do on the island within a half hour drive and almost all within an hour's drive. Andre was always responsive and gave tons of excellent guidance. We would love to return!
