Excellent fly fishing right outside of the back door! Take a walk to historic downtown Absarokee, relax on our large deck, with a stainless steel gas grill or enjoy the peaceful creek by the fire pit. Red Lodge is about half an hour's drive. From there, you can take Hwy. 212 up to the Beartooth Highway, for an exhilarating drive to elevations over 10,000 feet. The views are breathtaking! You'll reach Cooke City and Silvergate and can drive from there into Yellowstone National Park.

Wells Rustic Cabin

Our cabin has a beautiful view of the crazy mountains with deer and turkeys frequenting the property. You are close enough for day trips to Red Lodge, MT, Yellowstone Park and many more. Half way between Billings and Bozeman. The Stillwater and Yellowstone Rivers are close for fishing and rafting. Hiking trails are close also. It does have 2 miles of rough road. Real 4WD is recommended especially for mud (ruts/slippery) and snow drifts/ ice(might need chains)on hill .
