In short, the cottage perfectly met the description. It was pretty clean. Nice and quiet location in the park. Communication went fast and good. Excellent price/quality. Repeatable.

The chalet of Dewi is beautiful, clean/tidy, and well located. The beds slept wonderfully. We visited it in the winter, it always took a while for it to get warm. But that was not really important to us, because we were always visiting friends. The cottage was great for us as a place to stay and base.

It was a wonderful holiday, the house is clean and comfortable, the garden is spacious and suitable for children, and the owner is very nice and friendly.

Really nice place with a mountain cabin feeling. It is Really cosy and we felt at home as soon as we waked in. The surrounding lake is a perfect place to spend the day, an unexpected landscape in Netherland.

We stayed for 4 nights at this beautiful cottage. The kitchen was well-equipped, everything was very clean, there were good quality bed linen, comfortable beds, really nice garden and a free parking space. The whole site was very peaceful and there was even a playground and a small playing field for basketball and football. The check-in was very easy and convenient, we arrived late, but still could find our keys easily. The only thing to take in mind is that there are no towels included, toilet paper and hand soap, so you either have to bring your own or rent (towels ) at the reception.

A super cottage in a beautiful area. Highly recommended. Hostess Tineke always responds promptly, clearly and neatly. The only downside for us was that the cottage only has single beds, making it more suitable for groups of friends than married couples. We tried to put two beds together, but the mattresses kept sliding apart. Still, we really enjoyed our stay. Unlike the previous review, we have not experienced any problems with the pans and cooking.

It was a great holiday, we will come again.

Previous information about the park and the housing was by no means exaggerated. The complete family immediately responded enthusiastically to what we found around and in the park, around and in the bungalow. There was nothing to criticize on all assessable elements. We loved our stay and everything the region around Westerbork has to offer. The nasty piece of world history that we faced - old and young - could also be well placed in the context of our need for historical awareness. Cottage is on the outskirts of the holiday park from which you can walk into nature. Beautiful surroundings, suitable for beautiful walks where you do not meet many people. Westerbork is within walking distance. The cottage was comfortable and equipped with every comfort.

The area was very quiet and family-oriented. Bed linens were available on site, which saves a lot of space in the luggage. There is also a coffee maker with pads. The staff was super friendly and the host was available for inquiries in a timely manner. You feel like home. We were very pleased with the stay.

We had a wonderful few days in this cottage. It was clean and freshly decorated with a complete kitchen and even a new bag of outdoor toys for the children. The location is great, in the middle of Drenthe with lots of walking and cycling opportunities nearby. The campsite also has plenty to offer. Thank you, Hans and Ilona, for this lovely place!

Had a lovely relaxing stay in this lovely house. House is clean, practically furnished and equipped with every comfort. Surroundings are top, you walk right into the woods. The garden of the house is great, because of the hedge you have all the privacy and you can relax on the garden set or sun lounger, everything has been thought of. Recommended!

Very nice place to stay. Loved it. Check-in worked well, unfortunately could not reach anyone beforehand by email and phone because at very short notice, but at 7p.m. someone still opened us. House is not yet modernized but has been renovated recently. It was clean and the duvets seemed very new. Covers also very clean. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is super equipped. There is a service bag with everything you need. Rags, soap, dishwasher detergent, dishwasher tab, etc. Great! The children enjoyed the surroundings. Sandbox, playground, swimming pool, all there. Very good for families. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will be happy to come back.

We felt at home and would have liked to have stayed longer. Cute house, garden, lots of peace and quiet. It was fun to watch the animals from the terrace and the balcony. We have already discussed that we will definitely book again, but this time a little longer than a week.

Ellie's place is a wonderfull. Placed in quiet and serene village. House has everything for comfortable stay with great backyard. Place itself is very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Very nice and beautiful cottage with a large sunny garden around it and within walking distance of the forest in a nice quiet park with plenty of play opportunities for children and very friendly managers. Wake up every morning and say goodbye to the sun with a flute concert from all the birds and a lot of privacy. Small downside is the architecture of the cottage so that inside downstairs in the living room is very dark and you actually always have to turn on the lights, so you have to live a lot outside which is not a punishment because there is a great table and garden chairs in the beautiful spacious garden!

Good cottage in a quiet park. Fully equipped, even a washing machine if you need. Nice sitting on the terrace in the sun, and also on the balcony.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautifully and modernly furnished. Everything we needed was there: good beds, fast wifi, a smart TV and much more. The garden is surrounded by a hedge, giving you a great deal of privacy. Nice to sit outside quietly. The awning provided cooling on the terrace. There was also an outdoor connection to charge our ebikes. The park offers the necessary facilities. For example, the swimming pool has recently been renovated. Nearby, there is a lot to do. We visited the impressive Westerbork Camp and Wildlands in Emmen. The TT Circuit is also close by. And of course, there are several beautiful Drenthe villages and hiking and cycling routes in the area. We will definitely be back here again and then we will just book this cottage again!

We were allowed to use the cottage Heggenmus instead of the booked cottage. This is just about the work on the pool. The cottage was very private and we enjoyed the tranquility. Nice that you can park at the cottage by car.
