Rustic barn house

The rural barn house offers a peaceful holiday in a genuine natural environment. About 50 m away there is a sauna on the shore of the pond, where you can jump directly into the pond after the sauna. Hot water is available during the heating of the sauna, but washing is done with a bowl and a bucket, just like in the old days. Unfortunately, there is no dry toilet and shower at the barn house. Water can be taken from the outside, but it's all part of a genuine, earthy experience. Suitable for those who appreciate silence, nature and simplicity and are not afraid of a little adventure.

The boathouse is located on the Alūksne Lake/ city centre. There is walking trails, cafes, swimming spots, sports field, a children’s playground, the Alūksne Castle Park and historical objects within walking distance. Jaanimäe Holiday House is located in the middle of the Võrumaa nature, on the bank of a pond. Guests have access to an electric sauna, a spacious terrace, a beach with white sand, a pond where they can swim, a volleyball court and a basketball hoop. The bright living room offers a beautiful view of the pond. There is a private bedroom on the lower floor and a spacious sleeping area on the upper floor. It is an ideal place for a peaceful holiday for up to four guests.

The boat house is a place where you can relax from everyday life on the shore of Lake Alūksne. This type of boat storage was originally used (and is still used) by Alūksne fishermen, storing their boats used for fishing. In the boat house you will be able to enjoy romantic days and evenings - it overlooks Alūksne Castle Island and Castle Ruins, Alūksne Evangelical Lutheran Church and the restored Cultural Centre.
