Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. However, there is a large table to play games with each other and a lovely sofa to have a glass of wine together. We recommend bringing our own bathrobes, should it be necessary, we also have bathrobes.

Within walking distance of the city center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Elfstedenroute, is our rural farm. We offer you a spacious room in this rural and watery area, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/sitting area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is available. We have recently realized this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

Our cottage is located just below the smoke of Sneek, in the neighborhood Loënga. An excellent place from where you can make a wonderful bike ride through the countryside and past the various villages of Sudwest Fryslân. If you love city life, next to Sneek, Leeuwarden is a 20-minute drive. On hot days it is wonderful to stay on or on the Sneekermeer, but the beach of Harlingen or Makkum is also recommended.

The house is very quiet and beautiful. You feel right at home. It has beautiful surroundings, especially the canal in front of you. It's spectacular to look at from the window. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

Beautiful, clean apartment equipped with everything you could possibly need. Relatively short distances to interesting excursion destinations. We had booked the apartment as accommodation for a sailing holiday on the Frisian lakes.

We felt very comfortable from the beginning. Great as a starting point for beautiful bike rides. We enjoyed the particularly large green natural garden with a square on the canal and with it the many bird voices we heard. Nearest larger place with all imaginable shopping by bike about 15 minutes away.
