Many of the materials used in this house were either reused from old local houses or milled on the property itself, giving it a lot of character, while remaining modern. Convertible couch easily and quickly converts to flat bed. After you check out, you are welcome to leave your car safely near the cabin and return later to pick it up.

Hidden retreat close to i80, downtown Colfax, and the famous transcontinental railroad (the Zephyr stops here). The studio is a separate building on half an acre at the front of the property next to the carport. We like to surprise guests with free-range chicken eggs and sourdough bread as available.
