Staying at Pond View was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting and the beautiful views overlooking the pond. The property is even more stunning in person than in the photos — serene, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The home was spotless, decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was taken care of — fresh linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and cozy touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee on the porch and ending the day with the hot tub/sauna. So relaxing! Our host was responsive and helpful, offering great local recommendations and ensuring our stay went smoothly from check-in to check-out. It’s clear they put a lot of care into making this a special place for their guests. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with gorgeous scenery and all the comforts of home, look no further. We can't wait to come back to Pond View!

Charming cabin! We had lots to do although we mostly just relaxed. Catherine was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed! Great central location and the fire pit is magical.

This place was absolutely lovely, quiet, peaceful, and cozy. It’s not a sterile, mass produced airbnb; rather, it’s full of personal touches and family heirlooms.

This cabin was the perfect place to stay. We enjoyed visiting the family farm on the property with the kids, which was a perfect way to start the day. The cabin’s location was ideal — close to all the destinations we had planned, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. After a full day out, it was so relaxing to return and unwind by the fire pit while listening to the river flowing nearby — truly peaceful and rejuvenating. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Deborah was a warm, welcoming, and highly responsive host, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Excellent little home to stay at while playing at the beach, eating at great restaurants and shop. Beds all comfortable and added cute out door set up for grilling!

Charming and well appointed cottage in a wooded area close to the lake. Hosts Mark and Amy were very responsive and kind. Love how dog-friendly the property was with poop bag station, zipline tie-out, dog toys. Huge wrap around deck and awesome fire pit. Highly recommend!

Jim was a fantastic host. He welcomed us with a gift basket that had homemade bread and eggs from his chickens! It was such a nice surprise! The pool is the highlight of the home. We truly made the best family memories.

Staying at the cottage was lovely and one of the few opportunities I get to spend with my dog away from home! Clean, comfortable, with a lovely and super responsive host!

We enjoyed our stay at this location! We would suggest a dresser/shelf in the downstairs bedroom and bathroom as it was difficult to have the toiletries readily available. Also, we couldn’t get either of the heat sources to work either. However, the AC mini splits did work. While we could have reached out to the host since they were extremely responsive, we chose not to. We also didn’t notice any tissue boxes which was a very minor inconvenience. We would not hesitate to use this location in the future!

Great place to stay. Feels very private but also on a nice dead end street. Extremely close to the route 1. 10 min to Ogunquit, 15 min to Kennebunkport and lots to do in Wells itself. Very cozy inside and comfortable. Great private backyard and sitting areas. A few things we knew but just worth noting. As described stair case to second floor is very steep, not an issue for us but just note. Also great AC throughout the house but just know that there are no AC in the actual bedrooms so would need to keep doors open or rely on fans to get cool air in (it was on the cooler side outside so was ok for us) Overall great stay and wonderful host! We had a lovely stay! The cabin was rustic and comfortable, and a nice little walk from the lake!

This was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The place was dead silent, all we could hear was the many birds in the trees, the wind, and the river. The cabin was perfect and stylish and comfortable. This place is actually our dream house and dream house setting and we fell in love with it. It’s true peace. We enjoyed it so much. And the hosts didn’t miss a detail making it charming, clean, organized, and full of things to do.

Our 3 night stay was perfect. The cottage was so cute and comfortable. Holly and Howard were extremely friendly and nice.

The cabin is charming and in a beautiful setting. There were plenty of clear instructions on how to access features of the cabin. Michael and Karen were responsive, professional, and pleasant to work with.

This spot was AMAZING, and Eva was such an incredible host. For a large party like mine, all of us felt comfortable, and there was more than enough space where we were not cramped in. The recommendations that Eva provided were accurate and very resourceful. I have reached out to her a few times to ask questions and extend my gratitude for being such an amazing host, and she was by far one of the friendliest hosts I have ever encountered. My family and I were disappointed that we needed to leave, but we will most definitely be coming back again next year!

Great place, we spent time relaxing on the screened in porch, very quiet and spacious, the kids loved it, we loved the downstairs space with the arcade, and did some hiking nearby and visited an alpaca farm close by and enjoyed the lake

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and had a very special stay. The place is even better than the pictures and the history of the cabin is very interesting as well. Steve and Rebecca were responsive, accommodating, informative, and warm. The location is walkable, safe, and also private, putting you far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk or drive. We used the space heaters and were perfectly comfortable for sleep and there are AC units for warmer seasons. We’d love to come back for our next Maine visit!
