Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Yellowstone River

This place is great! It's across the street from the Wyoming Dinosaur Center, making it super easy to walk there for our dinosaur dig. It's super clean, it has probably the most comfortable pillows and beds I've ever slept on in an Airbnb and had an abundance of toys, games and fishing equipment to keep my family busy. The wifi was super fast too. He was kind enough to provide breakfast goodies. This was our second year visiting Thermopolis to partake in a family dig and the firs time renting Dale's place and we would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at Liz’s house for a girls trip and it was just perfect. The house is beautiful and the views are insanely gorgeous of the mountains. It’s also a perfect location to get to anywhere you would need to go. I highly recommend this house and Liz as a host, she was fabulous

Great stay right off the highway as we traveled through! Great for dogs. Bed was very comfy!

Loved this place. Loved being out in the remote area. Very peaceful! The bathroom for each bedroom was great! Plenty of space in the house to do your own thing. It was a great place for a girls week and close enough to Cody and Yellowstone to have a few adventure days! Definitely exceeded my expectations!

This is the most beautiful house with breathtaking views of the Tetons. Laura was very responsive and helpful. The house was in pristine condition and every detail thought of , very cosy and comfortable and we loved the time we spent at the house. Thank you Laura

First off, the host was Rad, I’m a pilot and travel 300 days out of the year, this was by far the best Airbnb I’ve been at over the last couple years. The host is super responsive and will help you in any way he can. What he offers to stay in his unit is amazing, didn’t realize until I got there that he would have stocked the fridge for us, was a last minute booking but that little touch was great! Had amazing coffee and a proper coffee maker, you can walk into town and it is very safe. Beds were amazing and super comfortable way nicer than any hotel you’ll stay at. I can’t say enough good things about this place… again I travel 300 days a year and Airbnb a lot, I do not have time to write anyone reviews really but I’m making the time for this place.

Cute and spacious place. Close enough to downtown Cody to quickly drive to, a bit too far to walk. Will probably stay again if I’m passing through Cody.

A welcoming stay in Billings! Comfy little home with back patio that is tidy and easy to enjoy. The bed was nice with great linens and extra pillows. Fully stocked kitchen (you know the owners care when there is a kitchen shears!). Close to shops and services, easy access to major routes. Great communication from the host. Come for the triangular window, stay for the ability to use the laundry!

Location was perfect for our girls trip to Livingston and Chico!

Great place, and very nicely decorated. Conveniently located and quick to both the heights, the west end, and downtown. Cute little neighborhood, and the coffee shop (Maple Moose) downstairs was super convenient. Great place! We’ll be staying again the next time we’re needing to stay in Billings.

Very nice place! I was traveling alone and wanted a safe place to stay and this was perfect! I loved the antiques and the bed was so comfy! Everything was clean. The muffin was an added bonus!

A great home base for a Yellowstone trip. You’re about 1 hr from the north entrance of the park. The town of Livingston has everything you’d want and need. The apartment is just the right size for two people

This was the perfect spot for our Yellowstone vacation. The host was friendly and highly responsive, and the location could not be beat. The house was clean, very well equipped for cooking, and had every last thing we needed. Our kids also had a blast in the game room. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We loved this home, so cosy and decorated so nicely. We especially loved the deck in the back and the patio in the front. Super clean. Close to restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at the historic Grabow Hotel! Patricia was a kind and welcoming host, and it’s clear she takes great pride in the family legacy. The building is full of charm and character—such a unique and memorable place to stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. We truly appreciated the hospitality and the chance to experience a piece of local history. Highly recommended!

The apartment was incredibly comfortable—spotlessly clean and perfectly organized. It had everything we needed to feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was its location right next to the river—falling asleep to the gentle sound of the water was amazing. The view from the terrace was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The area was quiet and serene, ideal for a restful stay. The bedroom was fantastic: spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Communication with the host was excellent. They were always quick to respond, and the check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Definitely one of our best Airbnb experiences. Highly recommended!

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is quiet and has everything you need. It is located just two blocks from Main Street and two blocks from the Irma Hotel. Walkable to all shops on main. Good secure parking. Perfect for our needs. We would definitely go back.

We absolutely loved our stay in Bozeman! The home was spotless, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing visit. Payton provided clear, detailed instructions that made check-in and check-out a breeze, and he was always kind and accessible if we needed anything. Just a quick note for future guests—there is currently some construction in the area. It wasn’t an issue for us since we were up early heading to Yellowstone, but it might be something to keep in mind if you’re planning to sleep in on weekdays. The evenings and weekends, however, were quiet. The unit itself was wonderful! We really enjoyed the selection of games, and it was a nice touch that each bedroom had its own fan for those warmer nights. Overall, we’d happily stay at any of Payton’s Bozeman BnBs again—highly recommended!

I just wanted to point out the beautiful & well-stocked kitchen! There was everything we needed (condiments, oil) and utensils/dishware were in pristine condition.

Great location. One block back from Main Street and easily walkable to restaurants and shops. Perfect for our family of 4. Clean and comfortable. This mom appreciated the washer/dryer and Branch Basics laundry soap and supplies. It’s great to do laundry after staying for a few days before moving onto our next vacation spot. Would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean and cozy. it was a little far from Grand Teton National Park. but a gorgeous drive in with unbelievable scenery. Great host!
