Cozy Lake Cottage at Lake Sommen

Unwind in this one-of-a-kind and quiet space. Directly by Lake Sommen is our newly renovated little house with bedroom, living room and a little kitchen. Patio under roof, jetty and beach directly outside. Summer water which means hot and cold water from the lake in the kitchen faucet and in the toilet house. New “Toahus” with shower cabin, sink and electrically powered incineration toilet. Fresh water is easily collected from the host. Bed linen and towels are included. Cleaning is not included. All guests clean up after themselves, all equipment is provided in the cabin.

Rural house in farm environment. Surrounding oak and kohagar. 350 m through the gardens you reach the dock by the water where nice swimming facilities are available. Amazing clear and nice water with fishing opportunities. Late summer offers rusty scenery, berry and mushroom forests. Nice surroundings for a bike. The bike enthusiast finds after a 30 minute drive Kisa MTB Park (former alpina 12-mannabacken). Winter time Asby alpine hill with three slopes just 10 min away by car. Enjoy the silence mixed with a rich wildlife.

The cottage is located 30 minutes from Jönköping, 10 minutes from Gränna and the E4 motorway. The nearest public bus stop is 7 km away, so we recommend that you have a car when you visit us.

Idyllic cottage, 30 sq m, on a private beach, 10 m from the water. Ten minutes from the highway E4 and Gränna. Thirty minutes from Jönköping. One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, using a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

The Guesthouse Uddebo is situated right by lake Rosjön, 10 km north of the pretty wooden town of Eksjö. Originally a traditional log cabin the guesthouse was renovated and extended in 2019. The natural garden of Uddebo is surrounded by lake Rosjön on three sides, giving direct access to the water, as well as a magnificient lake view from all parts of the house. Lugnt läge med den vilda naturen runt omkring er. 150 meter bakom stugan finns grillplats och vacker vy över sjön Sommen. Fina skogsområden med promenadstråk och vandringsleder för svamp- och bärplockning. Stor chans att få se mycket vilt som rådjur, älg, räv och även Havsörn. 500 meter promenadstig till ångbåtshamn, badplats och fiske.

The pond cabin is located on beautiful Asby udde. Here you live in the middle of beautiful nature with a nice view of the landscape. Large spacious porch with both day and evening sun. Covered hiking trails close to the cabin. Possibility of nice fishing in beautiful Ödesjön, where you walk in 10 minutes. There are plenty of pike and perch. It is also possible to rent a rowing boat. Free access to trampoline, easier rocking and toys.

Here you´ll find silence and tranquility. VIMMERBY - PIPPI at 60 min drive. Store Coop Österbymo 7,5 km. Eksjö, Tranås on ca 35 km. High season only weekly rentals on Saturday as changeover day. Your host is speaking english as well.
