My stay at Hiroki and Noriko’s home was absolutely incredible. It was so peaceful staying at such a beautiful and well-kept house. There is lots of history in the town so I enjoyed exploring during the day. Thank you so much for your hospitality, I do hope to visit again soon!

Our stay at Aki's place was the best in all of 3 weeks of Japan travel. After a week in busy cities, the calm, quiet and traditional place between ricefields and wooded hills brought long-sought comfort and peace. It was my biggest pleasure to hold long conversations with Aki about everyday life, people, and the world. He is a thoughtfull open-hearted traveller who found a home with his cheerful and empathetic wife - now they both go out of their way to make travellers from all over the world feel right at home. We had a lovely time staying with Yukihiro and Off-kun. We stayed for just one night and they were very welcoming and kind. The accomodation has a lovely view over the rice fields and is close to Akiyoshido cave and the Akiyoshidai national park

The people who manage this place are incredibly friendly and really care about what they do, they are very capable people and I really enjoyed my stay. The area is beautiful, and mash the dog is so cute! I took him on a walk through the hills twice and he loved it.
