Guest House Kokoro is located one block from Miyajima's Machiya-dori Street. 　When you pass through the warm curtain at the entrance, you are guided to the courtyard by stepping stones, with bamboo walls reminiscent of a Kyoto row house restaurant. There are glass doors in the living room that allow you to see the courtyard. 　The building is only for guests to stay in through the garden, so there is no need to worry about anyone. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary house, but once you step inside, it has a different atmosphere that leads to the charm of the accommodation. If you ask, the owner has always liked gardening and has a wide range of hobbies. However, as mentioned at the beginning, he didn't intend to start an inn, so there are no baths, but there is no major concern as the surrounding inns can be used as an external bath. The first floor is a living room, and the second floor has two adjoining Japanese-style rooms that serve as bedrooms, allowing up to 6 people to stay comfortably. 　In the courtyard, there is a white stone character "kokoro" (heart) inscribed in the gravel. Takehara City is located halfway between Wu and Onomichi, along the coast. The inn is a two-story, detached, and courtyard built in the Edo period in the center of the "Keihara Town Preservation District (National Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District)", a 13-minute walk from J R Takehara Station and a 20-minute drive from Hiroshima Airport. In the morning and evening, there is almost no traffic, and you can spend a quiet time like you have traveled back in time to the town of the Edo period. The large free space on the second floor is a large space with luxurious ceiling beams, and the windows overlook the streets of the town.From the room facing the courtyard on the second floor, you can see Fu Mingkaku, which is also a landmark of Takehara.
