Alper and Banu are proactive hosts. They are friendly and caring hosts ensuring things are well for you. The location is right at Taksim square however when travelling with I suggest you to take a cab as the house is at uphill. Also the house is spacious however and pretty. There are very good restaurants and cafes around and the house is at a happening place. Alper ensured we feel at home despite language barrier.

This was an outstanding beginning to our trip in Turkey. The location was perfect in a very walkable and interesting neighborhood with all we needed in terms of restaurants and walkable to attractions. We were only one block from the tram that takes you anywhere you need to go. The very best thing about our stay, though, was Cem. We have never had a more proactively helpful, generous, and friendly host than Cem. We highly recommend this place! NOTE: this apartment is small and it is in a very narrow but tall space (4 stories). So if you are not comfortable with small spaces or with steps, this would not be the place for you

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. I would definitely come back. Dilek was so kind to us. The place feels like home in Istanbul. It was the perfect location for us.

The place itself was amazing—just as described and exactly like the photos. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. For anyone traveling to Istanbul by car, this location is ideal since it offers free parking right behind the building. The host was incredibly responsive, available almost 24/7, and checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed—he truly cared about our comfort. Everything was perfect, especially the hospitality. Highly, highly recommended!

My stay at this apartment in Istanbul was absolutely wonderful in every way! The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished with modern, stylish decor. Its location is excellent — very close to Taksim Square and right in the heart of the city. The street is mostly flat with a slight uphill walk, but it was easy and not a problem at all. I would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Nihal and her family, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her communication felt more like family than just a host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, if I return to Turkey, I will definitely book with her again. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfort, a great location, and a warm, friendly host.

Excellent apartment at a reasonable price. The metro station is right next to the building. The host was very responsive — I really enjoyed my stay!

It is a nice house by the lake. A bit far from major supermarkets. The swimming pool is of good size. Very nice yard. The landlord doesn't speak much English but is very kind and nice. I like the place.

It was clean. There was no parking problem. If I have to stay in that area, I'd like to stay in the same house again. Thank you

Modern, newly developed and clean apartment. Host service was amazing, went out of the way to provide us a baby cot even though it was not listed in the ad. And not just a travel cot but a proper full sized wooden baby cot. We had a very pleasant stay! Thank you

We had a fabulous time at Gulsen's place! The views of the Bosphorus and Istanbul skyline are incredible both on the rooftop and from the rooms. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop, watched beautiful sunsets as the call to prayer emenated across the city. It was magical. The Galata area is fabulous in itself and easy to reach other neighbourhoods - Sultanahmet, Eminonou, Kakikoy, Taksim. Our group had a wonderful stay and highly recommended Gulsen's place! The host was very responsive too which made arrangements and getting information very easy.

We had a very pleasant stay. We had a peaceful and quiet and beautiful day where we enjoyed the house without getting tired in the crowds of the island. We were always able to reach Yüce Hanıma quickly before and after the stay. The house had most things that could be needed during the stay. We thought that there should have been materials such as kitchen cloth, spare garbage bags, roll towels, which are needed only during kitchen use, but we still left happy and satisfied. Absolutely loved our one month stay here. House is a real gem. So beautifully decorated, with everything you need to be comfortable for a long visit. Kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy and the shower was a real treat. And as mentioned in other reviews the stairs are a masterpiece, but defn not for those who aren’t steady on their feet. Such an interesting neighbourhood with so many lovely cafes, delicious bakeries and supermarkets close by. Host had made many local recommendations, and the ones we tried were great. Less than a 15min walk to the Ferry which we mostly used to go everywhere, as it is an incredible way to see Istanbul. Also, tram stop is close by with easy access to the Sultanahmet area. If you are after an authentic stay in an authentic area, this property is a real find. Thanks for having us. Vanessa

What a nice place. The penthouse was really spacious and had such a great view. The kitchen is nice. I wouldn't want to cook a major meal but for small things it's perfect. Think bachelor Kitchen. Location is nice. Walking is super easy to so many things. Just know that this is city with some pretty major elevation changes. Uber is super easy to utilize. Lastly the staff here is very nice and so accommodating. They were happy to help with everything and also kept the cost down. Something I don't find so often these days. I would return.

If you’re looking for the perfect Istanbul experience, this apartment is it. Just a 2-minute walk from Galata Tower, the location couldn’t be better. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had that authentic Istanbul charm. What made our stay even better were the cute little coffee shops nearby . Don’t miss the hidden antique bookstore tucked into a side street nearby—it’s magical. And if you follow the alley behind the tower, you’ll find a tiny rooftop terrace bar with stunning views of the Bosphorus. Not many tourists know about it. We’ll definitely be back!

The living facilities are good. Transportation is good. Immediate response to any inconvenience. Close to supermarkets and restaurants. The hill road is a bit difficult.
