James was highly responsive, and his parents were incredibly kind, making me feel right at home. They invited me to dinner on multiple occasions free of charge. On the one occasion I joined them, the meal was both highly nutritious and healthy. An additional touch was the access to use the washing machine at no extra cost. This accommodation is more than worth the price. The downside is the distance from Districts 1 and 7, where I had reasons to visit. However, affordable transportation options were available, thanks to Google Maps and the Grab app. On occasions when I opted for public buses, which are super cheap, I only needed to hail a Grab bike to take me to the nearest bus stop using Google Maps. I would then hop on the most available bus. I would certainly recommend this Home Stay and, in fact, would book again on my next visit to Ho Chi Minh City.

We had a great stay at Hai’s place. The location was in easy walking distance to a bunch of cafes and food spots which we greatly appreciated. We only stayed here for one night due to our prior flight arrangements, so the proximity to the airport was also a plus (sub-15 minute ride). Our only issue was a woman across the street who continuously yelled throughout the entire night. We didn’t get much sleep because of this, but it’s certainly not a reflection on the quality of Hai’s apartment - just something to note.

The place is neat and cozy, and very thoughtful in providing the essential needs. We had a great experience staying. The area is really quiet and private. Our check-in and check-out went smoothly. Annie is very responsive, thoughtful, and helpful. We’re just so happy that we found this place during our stay in Vietnam. Plus it’s a pretty place!

Nhung’s house was absolutely amazing! During my one-week stay, Uncle and Auntie took such great care of me — it truly felt like home. I really appreciated their warm family atmosphere and the love they pour into every detail of their home. Uncle kindly explained everything about the house to me in English, and Auntie welcomed me every day, even opening the door early so I could head out smoothly. The room was clean, private, and perfect for relaxing. I genuinely hope to come back again someday! I’m even thinking of recommending this place to my younger brother if he ever does a solo trip. It’s super close to the airport, the nearby street food is delicious, and they were incredibly kind — even helping me cross the street! 👍🏻😊 This is a wonderful place for solo travelers.
