Great quiet spot in a residential neighborhood. Was nice there was creamer for the coffee maker supplied. Very clean bedding and facilities.

We were on the way back home from Acadia and were highly pleased with our decision to split up the drive with a night at Cheryl’s place. Perfect landing place for families with kids, as ours instantly went to town playing in the bedroom, which was packed with all sorts of fun options. It is cozy and feels very much like home. Old Sturbridge Village was a short drive the next day and fascinating itself. Very welcoming and affordable option for families!

The Housed was perfect, Valerie was responsive, helpful, and the perfect host. A fantastic private and fenced in back yard for your four-legged family members. Market 32 across the street is fantastic for all your Grocery and food needs. Will definitely be staying at this residence again when I return to Boston.

My family truly enjoyed our stay. There are huge umbrellas in the yard that allowed us to enjoy the outdoors without getting wet. The whole home was immaculate! Plenty of space and stocked for all your needs there even are a few games, I haven’t played dominoes in years! We will definitely be back!

We had a great time throughout our eight days there. The home is located on a small quite road, and the lake is beautiful. We took morning walks down to the lake and along the road. The local residents are friendly. The house contains all of the necessary supplies and is roomy and tidy. The widows show the scenic views from each part of the house. Duc and Ian were really helpful and quick to respond. The TV is by streaming through an electronic device. We cooked full meals in the kitchen each day. The appliances and the heating system in the home worked well. The site is close to the town center. Driving in the area is easy, and there are numerous local businesses. We look forward to returning to this location in the future.

This house on a large pond is a great find! Water views are stellar all day. The driveway has a steep angle but is not a challenge. As with many houses, it has its unique quirks, but the positives are very high. The kitchen is extremely well stocked for cooking or just heat & serve. The furniture is comfortable and functional. We travel for freshwater fishing. With the rowboat, my husband caught & released over 20 fish - all large and small mouth bass. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

It's a beautiful back yard and working farm. It's peaceful & fun to hear the animals ( peacock & donkey). There is lots to do for kids. The place was clean with roomy main bedroom & livingroom. The kitchen had everything needed but lacked ample counter space or room to store unrefrigerated food. The dehumidifier ran all the time & had to be emptied every day. The patio has couch & chairs looked comfy but got wet in rain. The picnic table was nice & coukd be dried off. My grandkids had a blast using the pool, trampoline, hammock, see-saw & climbing structures. It's a very peaceful place. We hiked on 2 different Mass Rail Trails near by.

A weekend away, but close to home, with my family for my 35th birthday. Mom's Doe Haven sits along a small creek in a pine forest surrounded by nature, with ample space for littles (& adults) to explore and build fairy houses. The camper and large enclosed porch was the perfect combination of rustic and basic amenities. No wifi and little to no cell service (T-mobile had a bar or two outside camper), but that didn't bother us. Birds, toads, frogs, tree frogs, slugs and snails were abundant. We were supplied an abundant amount of firewood for the camp fire, space heaters for the chilliest of nights, and plenty of hot water. Carol welcomed us all (little kids and giant puppy too) with open arms and answered any questions we had. We're already planning and looking forward to out next stay. We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It was pretty cold and Carol provided us with several space heaters that she had turned on before our arrival. The folder with information on the area, local restaurants, grocery stores etc was very useful (we did not have any cell service) and helped us with planning our hikes. The cabin was clean and cozy and my daughter especially loved the game room right next to it. Sadly, the pool was already closed for the season but we're hoping to return in a warmer month next year!

We got married at a venue about 15 minutes away so we stayed here with our bridal party and the size was perfect. Everyone slept comfortably, we still had plenty of space. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is still close enough for us to enjoy exploring Sturbridge. Michael was responsive and honest with any question I asked!

Hooties Hollow camper was just what we needed as a couple traveling to experience the autumn leaves, surrounding hiking spots and small town markets. Carol was friendly/knowledgable of the area, responsive, and flexible. We extended our stay by a night because of the beautiful surroundings on site and nearby.

5 billion stars!!! Ann’s home is amazing! She takes great love and pride in her home and makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Any needs are exceptionally meet. Bootie and Murphy - her two fur babies - are the sweetest cats you will ever meet 🐈🐈‍⬛! The area offers many fun things to do - hiking, bicycle rail trails, mountains to climb, easy to get to restaurants, and shopping. Ann has a great backyard with fire-pit and swimming pool. Great landscaping that attracts plenty of birds. So enjoyable, relaxing and peaceful and would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Ann for sharing your home, Bootie and Murphy, and an amazing and memorable stay. If I am called back to the area again there is no other place I would want to stay but here! Looking forward to returning in the future!!

Charming old home with all the necessities. Loved everything from the squeaky floors, to the pull chain lights. An amazing library of books, too. A bit noisy outside with city traffic but if you’re used to that then you should be fine. Would definitely stay again.

Johanna’s beautifully updated farmhouse has warmth, character, and exquisite New England charm. I needed a peaceful respite, and this farm was perfect as was Johanna’s responsiveness as a host.

If you want to stay in a quiet and peaceful location without any neighbors and plenty of outdoor space, this is the place to stay. You can sit by the lake and watch all of the wildlife, go fishing, go for a hike and not be stuck in a hotel. We will definately come back to this location in the future as long as we have family nearby. Thank you to the Martins for being awesome hosts.

This was exactly the quiet, peaceful retreat we were looking for. The sun porch is what sold us (we called it The Nook), and what an absolutely perfect place to sit and read together for a few days! A family of geese came to visit and we got to watch them up close. We loved kayaking on the pond too—it’s an absolutely wild body of water with tons of massive tree roots just beneath the surface, and millions of lily pads. This converted camp is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. Extremely relaxing retreat for two people on an anniversary trip.

Well-equipped and extremely quiet.

We had an amazing girls' getaway at this lakeside house in Wales! The cozy living rooms both upstairs and downstairs were perfect spots for quality time and dinner together. We loved relaxing by the fire pit and enjoying the beautiful lake views. Paddle boarding/ and boating was definitely a highlight. Such a peaceful, charming spot.

Sunnybrook offered us a feast for our senses and rejuvenation for our bodies. We found ourselves remarking often about the joyfully collected and unerringly composed decor, the surrounding view of the vibrant, towering emerald gardens, the sound of the tumbling of the nearby river over rocks. It set us at ease and filled us with pleasure. Gail’s home gives a visceral sense of a life of love within its walls. It was a pleasure and honor to stay there and enjoy its wonders and was well worth the trip.

We loved staying at Brenda’s during the Christmas season! The view of the frozen pond, snowy walking trails close by, and warm wood stove really made for a winter wonderland. We can’t wait to come back in another season!
