It is about a 15 minute drive by SxS to either trail system from the cabin. We provide a map that shows the route we take from the cabin. Come enjoy the peace and beauty Mena offers.

The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. This cabin, built in 2018, sits on the high banks above the Irons Fork Creek, has hiking access to the creek, and is only yards away from the National forest boundary. Private, heavily treed, and peaceful, you will find this cabin to be a great place to get away and enjoy natural beauty in any season. To the town of Mena, AR, it is about a 15 minute drive.

Shady Bend Cabin is only 10 Miles from Mena. Located on 4 secluded acres that are abound with wildlife and privacy. This property includes a pavilion with plenty of seating and picnic tables for outdoor enjoyment. Also a cook shack with a gas grill and charcoal grill (byo) charcoal. Unload your ATVs or UTV'S on the property, the Wolf Pen Gap south trailhead is only 1 mile from the cabin. Nearby are Little Missouri Falls, Bard Springs, and Shady Lake.
