We love the pastoral setting of this mid century modern cottage (circa 1962) in a quiet neighborhood. The home has been decorated in period pieces so it’s like stepping back in time, but with the modern conveniences. It is close to Fort Jackson, USC, and Downtown. It has been totally remodeled with new appliances, bathroom and kitchen. we are pet friendly and there is an acre or so to walk the dog, but the yard is not fenced.

We stayed at Alvin’s place while doing our walk-through and closing on our new home nearby, and it turned out to be the perfect hideaway during a very busy time. The location couldn’t have been more convenient — just minutes from our new house — but what really made it special was how peaceful and tucked away it felt, nestled in the woods. The home was spotless, well-stocked, and full of thoughtful touches. We especially appreciated the variety in coffee selections each morning (who knew caffeine and real estate were such a good pair?) and the snack basket that became our evening reward after long, hectic days. Alvin was a fantastic host — responsive, helpful, and kind. This place was more than just a stopover; it was a calm, quiet escape that made our transition smoother and more comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone needing a peaceful place to recharge — whether you're buying a house or just need a break from one

This is our family’s new favorite lake property! The views right when you step in the door made you feel like you could walk right into the lake. Ds has thought of anything and everything you could need during your stay. From spices to cook with, laundry baskets for dirty and clean clothes, laundry and dish soaps, extra blankets, games, and a very well stocked kitchen! We didn’t have to leave the house one time to grab a thing. The ten of us all slept well and comfortably, with myself and my daughter using the sunroom pullout beds. We enjoyed playing all the games they provided and fishing off the dock and the round point out in front of the house. Ds was very responsive before and during our stay. Everything worked great and was very clean. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful, fun and relaxing home to vacation in this summer. We hope to be back next year!

We had the best time at this lake house! My wife and I stayed here with a few close friends, and honestly, we couldn’t have been happier. The house was awesome—big comfy bedrooms with their own deck access (perfect for quiet mornings and late-night chats), and the game room downstairs was a great hangout spot, perfect for the occasional rainy afternoon. But the real highlight was the outdoor space. We spent nearly every day in or around the water, then spent our evenings on the deck or in the screened-in porch just soaking it all in. Heather was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved it and are already talking about when we can come back!
