Despite located in the building basement, it is bright and from the large window you can enjoy a surprising Matterhorn view. Wi-FI full coverage, SMART TV, Kitchen fully equipped. It is very close to any ski station (400m from Matterhorn Paradise and 750m from Sunnegga) and center (500m). Everything is reachable in max 10 minutes walking, otherwise the bus stop is 150m far.

Modern and Cozy Apartment in Chalet Bambi

The chalet lies a little above the village. It takes about 15 minutes by foot from the train station and is partly steep!! If you have big luggage (skis,boots..) it’s best to take a taxi from the train station to Haus AIOLOS (Sfr. 26.—)! From Haus AIOLOS it’s another 3-4 minutes (90steps)!! IMPORTANT: to go skiing is real easy from the apartment. We’ll show you a shortcut path that takes you in 5 minutes ( all flat/no stairs)to Sunegga lift or the ski bus station!!

Nice studio "Chalet", renovated in December 2020, for 2 people with Wifi and TV. Large shared terrace with views of the village of Zermatt and the Matterhorn (in winter, see photos). Kitchen equipped with fridge-freezer, oven, Nespresso coffee, kettle, toaster, Raclette & Fondue. A double bed (140x200) with storage drawers, a wardrobe, table and chairs furnish the bedroom. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Bedding, bath and kitchen linens are available.

Bright studio with a great view

Our renovated studio is centrally located, 5-10 minutes' walk from Zermatt train station. Climbing the stairs to the house (90 steps) is always worth it, because the accommodation is characterized by a lot of brightness and a view of the village. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, the apartment is equipped with a bathtub, a cozy sitting area and a 1.80 m bed. A TV with Apple TV box and free Wi-Fi are available, as well as a lockable ski storage room.

The studio on the ground floor was newly furnished in 2016. It is quietly located on the east side of the house. For 1-2 people. With kitchenette, shower/WC, east-facing balcony. Haus La Colline is located on Riedweg. The lift to the Sunneggabahn and the end of the valley run are a 2-minute walk away. The Bahnhofstrasse is a 10-minute walk away, while the train station and church are a 15-minute walk away.

Cosy and affordable stay in Zermatt. If you are okay with walking extra ten minutes from the central areas, it’s a good place to stay in Zermatt with peaceful surroundings.

We loved our stay here. The location is a bit of a walk up a hill from town, but we love that! It was nice to walk off our meals and drinks, making it very worth it. The main benefit is the view of the Matterhorn! What an amazing view to wake up to every morning. The space itself is exactly what someone needs. Not too big, but big enough to stretch out and have a wonderful stay. The welcome basket was a super nice touch. That was a warm welcome of a treat. Thank you Tanja for being so fast in your responses!

We had a lovely stay here! Our host was very helpful and made several recommendations at our request. The place was spotless and cozy. It was a good 10-12 minute walk from the train station, but it was definitely doable. We would recommend!

We had a great time. It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the station, but if you get a taxi, they will stop you right outside the place. The check in was very simple and Michael was extremely responsive and helpful. He even helped me book a cab to the station while we were leaving. The place was great and we also had a small separate balcony to smoke which was great! Only thing I found not good was that the bread toaster wasn’t working, but nothing too big that couldn’t be manageable. All in all, an amazing experience and a great place

We had a truly wonderful stay at Valérie’s lovely apartment in Zermatt. From the moment we arrived, everything was cozy, clean, and full of warmth — just like being at home. This was our very first Airbnb stay in Switzerland, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Valérie is such a thoughtful and kind host, and her pink decor was a dream come true for me (I love pink!). The apartment is in a quiet location but still very convenient. We had a great rest, enjoyed the beautiful mountain views, and felt so welcomed during our stay. Thank you, Valérie, for your hospitality. We will definitely recommend your place to our friends and would love to return one day!

Absolutely stay here if you get the chance. I'd recommend at least three nights for excursions up the (very serious) local mountains and hikes in the area. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast filling, the restaurant delicious, the service excellent, and the surroundings quiet. The building is relatively far from the center of town, so you really get a chance to relax. I’d recommend booking this place over many of the more expensive in-town options. Recommendations for finding the place: Follow Rico and Phillipa’s instructions and the signs! Google Maps would have led me across a non-existent, washed-out trail. Also, one of the paragliding guides recommended the Matterhorn app for more up-to-date information (e.g., what transit is operational and where the sheep are).
