House vacation rentals in Wilkes County

Decided to take a quick trip for our one year anniversary and this did not disappoint . This place is beautiful and private . Make sure to get food before you go . You will probably not leave after you sit on the porch and get away from everyday life here . The little house is perfect and has everything you need for a get away!

The cabin was everything we needed this weekend! The screen porch was a perfect place to wind down in the evening. The kids were excited to pick from the DVD collection and game shelf. The community center was perfect for fishing and paddle boats with the kids. We also were close enough to the creeks to splash around in the mornings like I did growing up. We will be back!

This place was a gem. The views were absolutely stunning—whether it was sunrise with coffee or winding down in the evening, the scenery never got old. Inside, it felt like home from the moment I walked in. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together with everything I needed. You can tell the host really cares about creating a welcoming space. That’s why we’ve rented this place in the past as well.

What a beautiful lake front cabin. Very beautiful and tranquil! The host was super kind and very responsive! We will most certainly look to stay here again! Thanks for the great weekend!

Well we’re so comfortable and had a great time. It was just our family and the setup was perfect for parents and children. Please be aware the location had stairs to get to the house and the grill is back down the stairs making it a little inconvenient for most but very hard if not impossible for those with mobility concerns. The place was very well appointed, comfortable, and clean. We’ll for sure be back!!

We spent the weekend at Joanne’s place and was beyond happy with the place Joanne went out of her ways to make sure we were well! Thank you! Will definitely be back!

Fantastic space to share with friends! Wonderful host and close to Wineries (which is exactly what we wanted).

A lovely light filled home in a gated community. Very private and peaceful. We saw deer, turkeys and ducks. Since it is in the woods expect the usual bugs etc. Enjoyed coffee on the porch looking at the incredible view. The clubhouse and pool is a 5 minute walk. The location is a good 30 minutes from Boone. The roads are curvy and winding and you often need to stop for deer. We have family and friends in Boone so we were driving a lot. George was very nice and accommodating. He was in the owner’s apartment a few times to work on the property and I barely knew he was there. The WiFi and phone service was spotty. If I didn’t need to be in Boone so much, I would absolutely stay there again.

We are repeat guests at Marcia’s farmhouse and always love our visit. The place is lovely and comfortable, with all possible items that you could need in a home. The kitchen is a dream! Every possible gadget that you can think of. This is by far our favorite Airbnb!! Marcia is an exemplary hostess!

Comfortable big home. I would absolutely recommend this for any bigger groups looking for a place to stay. I can’t think of one bad thing about it. It’s all great!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was in a great location—peaceful, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing weekend. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The layout was thoughtful and spacious, which made it super comfortable for both me and my daughter. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again!

The cottage was quiet and clean, the beds are comfortable and Carina is super responsive and friendly. I'll definitely book again if I'm ever in the area.

A wonderful house with plenty of space and beautiful design. Host was responsive and accurately described the place. Definitely need four wheel drive to go up the driveway.

This house is amazing! Very spacious! We made great family memories and felt right at home. Endless games, hang out spots, hot tub, and a beautiful wrap around porch! Very clean, well stocked, comfy beds! Nice quiet neighborhood. This trip was the peaceful recharge our family needed! We would love to return!

We were looking for a last minute booking on a home close to Boone and came upon this listing. The place was spotless clean and had everything that you may need for a short stay. The instructions and the check in and out process was super easy. My teens loved the giant tv screens and the pool table and we loved the view and the privacy. We would love to stay again but this time in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the porches and the views more.

My wife and I needed to visit the area with not much warning. When we arrived and stepped in, it immediately felt just right. Comfortable and peaceful. You couldn’t really ask for more. Book it and enjoy.

Skyline Serenity is absolutely stunning. The house itself had everything we needed, and then some. All of the high-end finishes & appliances were awesome and the beds were so comfortable. We didn’t want to leave! We were able to use the golf cart which was the highlight of the trip for our young kids. The view is amazing - the sunrises were picturesque, especially with the large windows & doors. We had a thunderstorm one night and sat on the covered deck to enjoy it. We loved this house so much we booked it again while we were still there.

Great location about 10 minutes from west Jefferson and 30 minutes to North Wilkesboro. Plenty for kids and adults alike! The added security of the gate was really nice! I would definitely suggest this location to anyone traveling to that area!

Everything was perfect! The home was well stocked with everything we needed. The layout of the home is perfect and very functional. Let’s not forget the beautiful grounds and peaceful atmosphere! Extremely beautiful cabin and location. The view was amazing got to watch numerous deer feed in the field across the street from the balcony. Enjoyed listening to the river rushing by every day. Was able to experience snow the first day and even go to do a little sledding. Steve was very responsive to our questions and the cabin was peaceful and very clean. Great stay and will definitely be back in the future.
