It owes its special charm to the many architectural elements (e.g. Franconian floorboards). The garden invites you for breakfast, barbecue and relaxation, the direct surroundings for extensive hikes and bike tours.

You will find our apartment at the foot of the Walberla in Franconian Switzerland. We are located in the triangle between Nuremberg, Bamberg and Bayreuth, each about 35 km away. Ideal starting point for excursions, hikes and bike tours with direct connection of bike and hiking trails at your doorstep. The train station is 300 meters away (hourly service). An electric charging station is about 200 meters away. Shopping is nearby. Bakery, butcher about 500 m.

With attention to detail, we have completely renovated this house, which is over 100 years old. We reused as much of the old materials as possible or worked with natural materials, such as clay plaster, furniture made of wood in our own construction, the sink was hand-potted by me and mounted on an old sewing machine frame. My place is close to Forchheim, the gateway to Franconian Switzerland, and is centrally located to the greater Nuremberg, Erlangen or Bamberg areas. The town of Pinzberg is about 5 km southeast of Forchheim. My property is located on the northern outskirts on the main road. Families with children are welcome, but safety devices for infants (under 3 years) are not available. Shared use of the garden and barbecue are possible. Minimum booking 2 nights.

The apartment is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and invites you to relax and unwind in nature. The apartment is located directly on the bike/hiking trail (mostly level, flat routes right at your doorstep). It is 2.5 km to Ebermannstadt, the walk to the outdoor pool is 1000 m (3 km by car).
