Nice spatious house, everything you need is available. Easy to find (next to bank building). Ocean view from the deck. Quit little village, beautiful environment. Noice cancellation (living noises from neighours) could be better.

Fantastic stay at this beautiful cabin! Wish we had spent more time there but we were out and about all day. Great shower and super comfy bed in the top loft. I would love to come back in the Fall!

Comfy Cozy Studio Cottage

Erin & TrevorRating, 5 starstoday
This is the perfect home base for your Cabot Trail exploration. Moments from the causeway, but the location feels serene and secluded. Although it looks very close to the main house in the photos, it is very private and we felt like we were all by ourselves. Loved sitting out on the porch watching the hummingbirds in the evening. Cozy, comfy (10/10 bed!), spotless. We will be very likely to stay again!
An outdoor restroom structure is constructed from wooden planks, featuring a simple toilet setup on a wooden platform. A small trash can sits beside the toilet, and a vase with fresh flowers adds a touch of decor. Natural surroundings are visible through the open entrance.

We had a great weekend at the cabin. It was quiet and relaxing. A perfect place to get away from all the hustle and bustle nowadays. Would definitely go back.

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s cabin! We came during the off season so the town itself was quiet, but Mark gave us many recommendations for visiting neighboring towns if we wanted. There is also a community trail below the property, which was easy to access from the cabin, for walks into town or into the woods. Overall it was a great getaway spot to unwind, enjoy the forest, and cook good homemade meals. Mark is also a great host! He was super responsive over text and offered to give us a tour of the house/property at check-in (which we were happy to accept). We would be more than happy to stay again, next time we find ourselves in the area!
A round, black grilling station is positioned on rocky ground, featuring a metal grate. Several pieces of fish are laid out on the grill, with flames visible underneath. The surrounding area is natural, with stones arranged around the base.

Eagles Haven

Beautiful updated home and amenities! the location is perfect for Cape Breton, we were on motorbikes and could take bike trips in the morning, come back and rest then check out another part! The cottage has a private beach with incredible views and a fishing pier. John is an amazing host, he went out of his way to ensure we had the best weekend! We felt safe parking our bikes at the top of the hill and he helped with transportation to the cottage!
