Vacation rentals with beach access in Whitsand Bay

The most beautiful place, all amenities in the appartment wrapped up in a cosy comfortable clean seaside themed vibe. Best nights sleep on a gorgeous king sized bed with luxurious fabrics. The helpful guide curated by the host was perfect - we were able to travel to Polperro, Fowey, Liskeard and Plymouth on local buses and train - never had to use the car during our stay. We went to pubs with roof top bars, coffee and crab sandwiches on the harbour and ended our week with a lovely meal at the Hannafore Point Hotel. But it was the view from the lounge and bedroom window that was the highlight - absolutely breathtaking especially watching the sun rise whilst sitting in bed with a cup of tea - so much so that we didn’t watch the tv because watching the view was so much better - like something out of a magical world. And that’s the overriding feeling we have and memories we treasure - a magical week in a magical place in the most magical setting - memories that will warm us on dreary days

We had a great stay, Colin and Lisa were lovely and even went above and beyond to provide us with a little extra treat for my fiances birthday. The apartment was clean, comfortable with really special view. Also, the local restaurants and bars are way closer than Google would have you believe, we particularly want give an extra special thanks for the ferry recommendation. We had a fantastic time and plan to return in the future. :)

Our second time staying with Siobhan, it’s a really lovely place, modern, clean, peaceful, all amenities and a great location being close to the beach and the Charlestown. Siobhan is a great host. Highly recommend.

A very suitable place to stay, convenient for lots of locations. Cherylin is an excellent host, and the garden annexe is immaculate , with excellent views across the lake. Millbrook is a lovely little village.

Rockpool is a wonderful place to stay! Kay is a friendly, helpful and generous host. We appreciated the lovely treats left in the fridge for us. The location is peaceful and quiet and the accommodation is comfortable, very clean and well equipped.

house was beautiful, perfect location and view was lovely. Easy walking distance to royal william yard and the ferries. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend visiting Ryan and Tanya at Fig Tree @ 36 if you want some amazing fresh local food! 10/10 for the food and service - we went a few times! Easy walking distance too. Will definitely stay again!

Lovely modern apartment set in beautiful peaceful and restful surroundings. Very clean with all facilities. Clear instructions for check-in and general instructions. Felt very at home. Easy to find and some manageable steps to property. Nice beach and amazing views. Within walking distance or five minute drive from Looe-which was our main interest. Would happily book again. Wow - what an amazing place to stay! This is probably the most memorable AirBnB I have stayed in so far. You are right on the edge of the seafront and by the harbour, with the double aspect living room enabling you to see both - the sea views are just stunning. Margaret was a really friendly and communicative host, and the parking space is good. I would heartily recommend this as a great place to stay; it is just so special being able to look out and see the sea from bed, and to hear the waves lapping at the shore as you go to sleep or make your cup of tea in the morning.

My few days at The Lair was like staying at my own home. The place was pristine, with all the amenities you require. The bed was so comfy ! So peaceful too ! I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Sam for being such a great hostess. Ali

A beautiful retreat in a stunning location. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and welcoming. Not only that but the hosts also are very generous and add additional touches - lovely Bread, butter, fudge, milk,wine- which is lovely to arrive to. The location is fantastic, just by the beach. A stunning location. We had such a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone, we would definitely stay again.

A lovely spacious property where we immediately felt at home. Close to the beach and Port Isaac with a short drive to Polzeath. We enjoyed sitting in the sun in the private garden and going for walks on the coastal path. We would love to stay again - many thanks Gerry.

We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

A blissful retreat, with absolutely stunning views. The Bothy is cozy and well kitted out, and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful.

The cottage is well placed for weddings at Polhawn fort which is a short walk away with amazing views along the way. It is very spacious, warm and clean and is well stocked with toiletries and everything we needed in the kitchen. The appliances in the kitchen were easy to understand and use. The delicious apple juice left in the fridge was much appreciated as was the milk, tea, coffee etc. Our grandson enjoyed running around the garden which has plenty of seating and tables. There are some good walks from the door and it would be good to go back for longer next time to explore the area. We had to drive down some narrow roads to reach the cottage but fortunately the roads weren't busy.

Perfect place for a couple. Centrally located for whole of South Hams area. Really quiet. The host was really welcoming. Accommodation was really well presented and spotlessly clean. Super bathroom and a really comfortable bed. We’d certainly stay there again!

Wow, what a find! This is a beautiful place to stay. It has everything you could need and is in a great location. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Chris is a great host. Very responsive to ad hoc messages and provides great recommendations for local places to eat, things to do etc. I loved this place so much that I have already booked again for next year. We absolutely loved this apartment! I’d previously stayed in the hotels in Plymouth whilst visiting family and thought we would try an Air B&B and I’m so glad we found this place. The location is excellent - down a quiet street, right next to Hoe Park and 10 a min walk to the Barbican. There’s a well-stocked Tesco on the corner too. Parking was a breeze with lots of spaces on the main street. The apartment itself is just so lovely and homely with bags of character. It’s a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures and there were so many thoughtful little extras, including a beautiful welcome hamper and lovely toiletries. All the necessary appliances and kitchen bits were there, and thankfully easy to use! It was spotlessly clean and had plentiful towels, and also big fluffy pillows on the very comfortable beds. Our hosts were fabulous and checked in by text regularly to check we had everything we needed. Would give 6 stars if I could! :)

We had a brilliant stay, Chris was very welcoming and informative before our arrival. The walk to town has lovely views, the room had everything we needed for our stay and added to our time away.

A fabulous location overlooking the river/harbour. Gemma's is a really nice 2nd floor apartment on level ground at the start of the main street and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. If you're OK with the stairs I thoroughly recommend it.

My parents (and dogs) had the most amazing stay. Chris made them feel very welcome, was super helpful and an all round amazing host and they couldn’t recommend their stay enough. The property was lovely and homely, great location to the local village and very good public transport that was close by. Thanks again. 😃

A lovely place in a beautiful location. The house was spotless with comfy beds and great kitchen facilities. Lovely to have tea, coffee and milk provided as well as a treat for our dog. A travel cot was also provided for our 5 month old which was great. The view from the decking is so peaceful and so quiet. Just the relaxing bank holiday weekend we were after.
