Mallory and Michael were helpful and responsive, adding some extra touches, like a map of the lake and helpful tips to make our stay wonderful! The cottage was a perfect combination of cozy and spacious and had everything we needed. Amenities were close by if we needed anything. The docks were exactly what we were hoping for. We enjoyed our days lake side on the docks swimming and boating. Our evenings were spent by the fire pit or gathered around the large kitchen table for a game of cards. The outdoor seating area was peaceful and relaxing. Our family has been lucky enough to stay at many cottages over the years - and this one stands out as one of the best!! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at WestWind Cottages! The Cottages were immaculately clean and well-maintained, with fully-equipped kitchens and comfortable bedrooms. We loved the private patio areas, perfect for relaxing with family and friends. Beeka and Chris were friendly, accommodating and excellent with communicating. Overall, our stay at WestWind Cottages was a relaxing and rejuvenating escape from the city. We can't wait to return and experience it again! (5/5 stars)

Our stay at Brandon’s cottage was wonderful and far beyond exceeded our expectations. It had that lovely rustic cottage charm but with thoughtfully upgraded appliances that made everything feel effortless and comfortable. The entire space was spotless, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing weekend. The deck and beach area were perfect for enjoying the sun while the fire pit was great for cozy nights by the fire. You can tell Brandon had put thought into making it a very welcoming and comfortable space. It was exactly what we needed to rest and recharge!

What a glorious setting! Peaceful location with nature all around. We didn’t see or hear any neighbours - utter tranquility compared to our usual hectic schedule/ semi-urban surroundings. The house was easy to find with clear instructions; there were thoughtful additions such as a full log basket, plenty of loo roll, laundry detergent, basic cooking supplies like oil/ seasonings and extra towels were available if required. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into making it homely. Host was responsive and helpful with recommendations and instructions - even maps of the best canoeing spots! We had a very peaceful stay and teenage kids loved it - even though it was autumn, we still enjoyed the lake, swam, hiked, went canoeing, and toasted marshmallows in the fire pit. If you’re looking for a city rush with lots of buzz, look elsewhere; for peace, beauty and the outdoors immediately available, this is a great spot!

Absolutely loved our stay at Beaver Point Cottages! The place is cute, quiet, and in a perfect location right on the water. The hosts were incredibly helpful—we ran out of propane for the BBQ and had a new tank delivered within minutes. Couldn’t ask for better service. 10/10 recommend and would definitely come back! Thanks for everything!

About the host - Jeff is a great! Very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. He took time out of his long weekend to take us on a tour of the lake and to Deadman's Drop so our kids can jump. Location & Lake Great little gem. Water is clean , no weeds out front of dock which make water sports very enjoyable. Lots of toys to use - paddles, kayaks, canoes, tin boat. Cottage Four decent sized bedrooms - one facing back of cottage with lake view. Other two are at front of cottage. One additional bedroom in basement with two sets of bunk beds - if you're travelling with younger kids keep this in mind. Although a great space for teens! Walkout to dock from basement too with an additional refrigerator - perfect for accessing while enjoying the lake. Great dinner seating area for large groups. Bathroom is huge. And laundry facilities are a great addition. Best of all are the sunsets. This is a great place to enjoy with family & friends. Thanks Jeff!

Tracey’s brand new tiny house is big on amenities and comfort. Nestled in the woods with huge windows looking out onto treetops, this peaceful home is a sanctuary for writers, bird enthusiasts, solo travellers, couples, and those looking for something unique in a quiet rural area. In a 7-minute period, I picked up 23 birds on Merlin, and was greeted by yellow warblers in the nearby shrubs as I walked around. A young rabbit grazed every evening near the house. Tracey is welcoming and quick to respond to queries, and she has thought of so many details. There is a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed in a cozy room with attached balcony- a great selection of reading material, puzzles, amazing art everywhere you look. Finding enough reading lights or places to curl up with a book in a rental is a challenge sometimes. Not here, as Tracey has created spaces that beckon you to relax. We highly recommend this spotless, private, modern retreat for your next getaway!

The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals with loved ones. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living spaces were inviting and spacious! What truly set this place apart were the outdoor amenities. Whether it was enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, soaking in the peaceful views, or exploring the nearby trails, every moment felt like a retreat into nature. The hosts were exceptional—friendly, responsive, and attentive to every need, ensuring our stay was flawless. I can’t recommend this cottage enough!!
