Cottage vacation rentals in Whitestone

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dock Cottage. It was modern elegance mixed with warm vintage touches. It had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable and we loved the dock, hot tub and kayaking on the lake. It was quiet and peaceful and felt far away from everything yet we were an easy walk from Miss Nelle’s coffee shop and ice cream stand where we went each morning for a coffee (opens at 7am), Muskoka Brewing Company for a beer and a few other Baysville shops. The communication and instructions were really helpful and we received prompt replies if we had a question so it felt like we were really taken care of. We will definitely be back and recommend it to friends.

Second stay for our family and we were not disappointed. Lovely place for some R&R and easy access to town to explore. Thanks again!

We were looking for a nice place with indoor pool for our kids, this place was exactly what we were hoping for! The house is very nice, has a few stores nearby to buy anything you might forgot back home. We will definitely come back again!

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Muskoka cabin. Great views of the lake and was really fun to go out on the canoe and kayaks. The cabin was cozy and nice with a great kitchen and awsome living room for hanging out and relaxing. Host was extremely responsive and nice. She provided helpful clear instructions and information. Would love to go back.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Kathy’s Cottage. The place is beautifully nestled in nature, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. We stayed at this cottage over the long weekend and had an amazing time. The place was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a highlight—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The backyard was spacious and peaceful, ideal for lounging or enjoying a BBQ. The owners were incredibly helpful, respectful, and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

The cottage is by the lake with perfect views from the patio. We especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, the wine bottle, and a well stocked kitchen. What a gem! This lovely cottage was everything we wanted. Private, clean and super cozy. The view from the deck steps away from the back porch was absolutely beautiful. Douglas was very friendly! His response time was very quick to any questions and he made sure we had everything we needed. His recommendations for around the area were super helpful too. Definitely recommend!

This cottage is perfection. Liane & James are just SO lovely. If you're reading this, don't look any further. Just book it. We couldn't have had a better week at Follie's Cove. The cottage was the perfect mix of modern and rustic. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. We felt at home instantly. The sunroom was the perfect chill spot for us and our two big dogs to get out of the sun/rain without feeling cooped up indoors. The beach was heaven for our dogs, and on a quiet end of the lake, so we saw few other people all week. The quintessential Muskoka experience! Liane and James were *beyond* wonderful. They set us up with a ton of breakfast food and desserts. Even offered to return the day after check-in to drop off more coffee. It truly felt like renting from friends. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat from them and puttering around the lake. Wish I had more space to gush about the space and their incredible hospitality. We would book again in a heartbeat!

The Hilltop Cottage was comfortable and welcoming in a beautiful location in the forest with a view of Georgian Bay. The food at the restaurant on the bay was excellent, the location was beautiful, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The Glenn Burney Host was welcoming and responsive. It was a very relaxing and refreshing place.

We had a lovely stay at James' cottage, the view is stunning, the place is very spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped. My favorite is to enjoy the view on the hammock or the swing in the living room. The location is very convenient, only a short drive to town. We would love to be back for the fall. Even though we had a small hiccup on arrival, Ningning corrected it immediately and made it right. Thereafter we had a beautiful time and my husband had a wonderful birthday celebration with his family. It was a perfect place for such a gathering. What an amazing and well equipped kitchen. The cottage and the outdoor space were so spacious and breathtaking. It was very peaceful and our grandson enjoyed the play area. We definitely would return.

We had an incredible stay at Lionel’s cottage in Port Loring! The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and the cottage itself was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of friends. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice—it was even better in person. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape to a beautiful and peaceful spot. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a very peaceful and well maintained cottage. We enjoyed our vacation there and made use of all the amenities, including BBQ, kayaking, bon fire, pool, foose ball, TV, and more. Everything in the home was as it was described and we'll recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome experience in and around McKellar.

We had a great stay at Canoe Relax. The kitchen is perfectly stocked and the baby monitor that Ben provided was soooo helpful. All the amenities, living space and supplies were in great shape. We would definitely return here in the future.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Julie and Kevin’s cottage, and it suited 2 couples perfectly. The home was easy to find, and clean and inviting upon entry. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and had plenty of seating. Our timing was perfect for the fabulous views from the deck of the stunning fall colours. We also lucked out on warm weather and calm water, so sitting by the fire at the waters edge every night was peaceful and relaxing.
