Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack River. The cabin is close to the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides.

Steal away to the enchanted treehouse of your childhood dreams. With floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of pristine Pacific Northwest wilderness, this A-frame sanctuary offers the perfect combination of quiet seclusion and modern convenience. Note: the property features a significant (about 60) stair steps to climb. As a result, it may be more challenging to enjoy for those experiencing ambulatory limitations.
