It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Welcome to the Huckleberry house, a private cabin 3 minute drive from the ferry and within walking distance to the shops in Quathiaski Cove (10 minutes) and the ferry (15 minutes) Your private cabin is in the garden area of our backyard. Our house/cabin are nearby, but your cabin is its stand alone structure. It is common to see Bald eagles and Ravens soaring overhead and deer grazing in the yard. Great launch point to explore all the amazing adventures Quadra has to offer !

Whaletown Lagoon Floathouse

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
