Eric and Dympna live in a modern 3 storey beachfront guesthouse in the quaint and picturesque seaside village of Duncannon. The friendly village also has a working fishing harbour, and is built around a spectacular star shaped 16th century fort. The village has a couple of nice pubs which serve excellent food and are a great place to sit and relax after a day sightseeing. Our uniquely situated home has 3 en-suite rooms for guests, 2 with large south facing windows giving exceptional views of the award winning beach and surrounding Waterford estuary. Your room is a very comfortable double ensuite. This room enjoys a brilliant sea view, overlooking Duncannon beach and the surrounding Hook Penninsula. Your stay with us also includes a hearty Irish breakfast, which will be served to you while you take in the magnificent views from our breakfast room directly overlooking the beach. This room, with ensuite, has a fantastic view of the Bay. Arthurstown is ideal for all around this part of Ireland. The Hook Lighthouse, Tintern Abbey, Kennedy Park are all close by. There are several great beaches nearby. Waterford is just a ferry ride and short drive away. There are places within a short drive to get good food, such as The Hollow ( great seafood), The Dunbrody House (5-Star restaurant), also has a pub in the back called the Local. Absolutely great craic and food.

Situated on a quiet country lane about 1 mile outside the town of Gorey in Co. Wexford, Highlands Cottage is a lovely little house set in mature gardens, with flowering bushes, trees, plants and lots of peace and quiet. There is no traffic noise, just the sounds of nature. Everyone is welcome, but please note that there is no smoking on the premises. While there are Tea and Coffee making facilities, the accommodation is not Self Catering. It is offered on a Bed and Breakfast basis only.
