Come and embrace the majestic beauty of Vermont from Sugar Hill, a quaint log cabin nestled on 24 acres of beautiful countryside. Enjoy the views of the Canadian mountains from the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; or wander around the pasture or woods behind the cabin. Close to both Jay Peak and downtown Newport, you can enjoy all those locations have to offer, or simply relax. Please note that the stairs to the 2nd floor are steeper than usual.
“Loved staying at Johns Cabin for our 3rd time. We always look here first, and we book it as soon as its available. Great cabin, close drive to Jay Peak, and just amazing setting and cozy cabin features. John is also a great host to work with, very easy to reach out to and very easy process to check in/out. Hopefully we get to come back next year. Angelo”

“This is the perfect house for a few families to share for a great ski vacation at Jay Peak! We thought that it was immaculately clean, the beds were all comfortable, there were plenty of towels, the showers had great water pressure, and the kitchen was well equipped. Communication was quick and easy and the check-in was hassle free.”
This rental apartment is conveniently located in the village of Troy, It is walking distance to two country stores and a restaurant all with food and beer. Better yet, Jay Peak Resort is only 8 miles from the house, about a 15 minute drive on VT State maintained roads. The house is a great, funky ski haus. Great for friends getting together on a ski vacation or a family that wants a ski weekend with out the cost of eating out.
“Just a great location!! Perfectly located to Jay Peak, the General store and Junction restaurant for a great breakfast. Wendy is a super host! The house has a very cool retro vibe. Perfectly comfortable after a day on the slopes or sitting through 4 hockey games. The house had all you need and more for a fun easy weekend in Jay.”
