Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Western Greece

We had a wonderful vacation in Lithakia on Zakynthos. The accommodation was lovingly furnished, very well equipped and we felt right at home – exactly what we were looking for! Mavra welcomed us warmly upon arrival and even organized two sun loungers for us on request! Two authentic taverns are within walking distance, which is great in the evening if you don't want to drive again. And the café of Mavra and Spyros is also highly recommended – lovingly run and really delicious. We had a really great time and have taken the island and especially Mavra and Spyros, to our hearts! Thank you both for the warm hospitality! We will definitely be back!

We were very lucky to stumble across this tranquil villa. From requesting to book to the point of checking out, Savvina was very helpful and swift with replying, with some great suggestions to certain things we wished to do. We were met by mama nena on arrival who showed us around the villa and made us very welcome, with the added kindness of some lovely homemade produce, the following day we were totally spoilt with the arrival of a delicious pie. The villa was in a quiet area, which we were looking for, with a very short drive to the nearest beaches/taverners. We took in some beautiful sunsets and an amazing sunrise at the villa. The house was super,the hostess even more!It is in a very nice location outside the village but at the same time close to downtown and the harbour.. There is a nice yard with a kindergarten,fruit trees and very kind pet animals.!The car was literally next to our door.. thank you Panayota for a wonderful break!We will come back to you again!

We loved staying here! We were two couples and each had our own space. The apartment is modern and we felt like we were living in luxury. The hosts are very responsive and want to make sure that their guests have the best time. They couldn't have been more accomodating. We couldn't recommend this place more highly. In addition, it was in a fantastic spot, close to restaurants and shops.

I read a previous review that mentioned the word soul and indeed this place has soul. It is an old family holiday home built in the sixties on a large parcel of land right on the water surrounded by shade giving trees. Down a few steps to a private swimming spot is perfect. If you want a modern facility forget it but if you’re after an authentic, private and relaxing place this is it, an oasis away from the chaos of Nydri and surrounds. We enjoyed a week here and didn’t want to leave. The well appointed kitchen meant we could cook for ourselves each day. We left relaxed and refreshed. We had a great time!The stay was great as Isabella was flawless professional at everything!The access to the beach is just opposite the house and there is a tavern right next door. At a distance of 1.5 km there is the city of Erateini where it has everything.

Julia and Peter's place worked well for our one-night stay (one teenager, two adults). It's small, but set up well and has appealing decor and furniture (and good books). It was comfortable and had enough kitchen supplies so that we could make a simple meal. Sitting outside in the yard in the evening and morning was very pleasant. We liked the rural setting and seeing the sheep pass by. We appreciated the wine and fruit they left. Julia and Peter are lovely hosts, we enjoyed talking to them when we arrived and when we saw them taking their dogs out for walks. The local beach is a quick drive away and was good for enjoying the sunset.

Nice place to visit Olympia and enjoy the sandy beaches. Mirsinis place is comfortable and located between olive trees. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful beach-side house with great views across the Gulf of Corinth. The ground floor is a spacious open plan living area with big comfy sofas and a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are also generous size, each with a balcony. The fittings furniture and interior are very classy and made for a luxurious stay. The location is great - we stayed in May and it was very quiet in the area. The beach is right on your doorstep and it's a pleasant area to walk around. It's good to have a car if you want to get to the centre of Patras, although there is a train station maybe 3-400m away. The host was communicative and helpful. We arrived at night and it took us a little while to find the house. Note that it's the last house on the left as you drive towards the sea. The GPS pin is not quite in the right place. All in all I highly recommend this place.

The best accommodation during our 4-week trip to the Peloponnese, with a warm and personalized welcome (it's a change from lockboxes…). Total availability. Thanks to Avva who took care of our laundry (washing and … drying)..Thanks to Mennelaos for his help in replacing our flat tire. The cherry on top, the sea at the foot of the garden, and the site of Olympia about thirty minutes by car. Book without moderation.

Very beautiful and well cared for indoor space with beautiful garden. It has everything we needed in the kitchen. The parking space accommodated 7 vehicles with no issue. The hosts were very discreet and responsive to everything and were flexible with the check out time. The route to the center of Patras is very pleasant and you never understand you arrived

I would give this beautiful apartment and Labrini more than 5 stars if I could. Everything was thought of, the presentation was flawless and a lot of thought had gone into providing an elegant but comfortable home away from home. The beds and linens were perfect and the welcome gift of home made goodies was a lovely touch. We were very sad to leave to continue our exploration of Greece but if it weren’t so far away from home, I’d love to return for longer. Thank you for a memorable stay, Labrini and Christos.

The villa is really great and everything was very clean. Wonderful views of the sea and the sunrise. The terrace with the hot tub and the illuminated garden is beautiful. Approximately 100 meters through the garden to the sea. Be sure to bring water shoes for entering the sea. It is wonderful for swimming and snorkeling. Communication with Dimitris was flawless and friendly, he was very helpful and made suggestions for the area. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

10/10. Had a lovely stay here! Lovely bakery down the road which is a 10 min walk. Location is quiet and peaceful and was perfect for our little one to sleep. Host was lovely and responds quickly. We needed a travel cot and high chair and this was provided for us. Gave us recommendations for the area and car higher. Would defo recommend staying here! The villa was perfect, clean and plenty of space for 4 adults and a little one. I would live here if I could. The villa is lovely and would highly recommend.

This beautiful, old-style home was beautifully situated with exquisite views. The pool and outdoor area were particularly enjoyable for the children and family meals. Plenty of space for all of us and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.

JUST WOW. It’s hard to describe how amazing this Airbnb experience has been, but I’ll try. Apartment - The apartment is beautiful and furnished to the highest spec. The aircon is a dream, large fridge, large bed, indoor and outdoor showers with all the amenities needed when you check in including bottled water, shampoo, washing liquid, olive oil, salt and pepper etc. Area - 15 min walk into old town (10 mins from ICON gym) and you’re away from all the noise, it’s extremely peaceful. Service - It’s what sets this place apart from other Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. Our lovely cleaner Maria cleaned the apartment from head to toe every couple of days, replenishing toilet rolls, bin bags, fresh towels and new bedding and even provided us with more charcoal and fire lighters as we used the BBQ multiple times. Such a professional feel and we felt very well looked after all holiday. 5* Airbnb experience with service to match. Thank you for making this an experience we won’t forget!

Welcome to a slice of Heaven!!!! Nikos’ Villa Nilena was just as shown in the photos and was quite well equipped. We were warmly greeted by Nikos’ father who gave a thorough tour of the home. The flowers, olive and citrus trees surrounding the property were beautiful and the view of the sea are extraordinary. It was so nice to wake up each morning and have coffee on the terrace, enjoy a fresh orange picked from the grove, then later in the day wander down to the beach and take a chair and umbrella at one of the local establishments. Beach side beverage service was also available. The nearby hotel serves yummy meals and there is another property that has a beautiful bar and restaurant. The fact that they were so close to the villa made our stay very enjoyable. We give this property our highest possible recommendation, and look forward to staying there again.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with true Greek hospitality—a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks, and the warmest smile from Lydia herself. The villa was sparkling clean, with comfortable beds that made it easy to unwind. But the true highlight? The pool. It offered the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen—absolutely unforgettable.
