Our lovingly furnished apartment is located in the tranquil village of Winnen on the Westerwald Steig between Holzbach Gorge, the 18-hole golf course and Secker Weiher. The cities of Limburg and Hachenburg are within easy reach. Attractive cycling and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity invite you to day trips. The beautiful garden is a highlight. The sun-drenched conservatory invites you to linger and relax. The fireplace, which spreads a soothing warmth.

Cottage at the Holzbach Gorge

Our small cozy wooden house is located in a vacation home village right by the Holzbach Gorge on the Westerwaldsteig. Enjoy the tranquility and nature of the beautiful Westerwald. The cottage is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours and is close to a swimming lake (Secker Weiher). With up to 4 people, you will stay alone in the house. The garden is also intended for your own use. Arrival without a car is not possible. !! No rental to companies!!

The apartment is bright, sunny, barrier-free and modernly furnished. Built in 2021. The town of Vielbach is 5 minutes from the A3. ICE train station and outlet in Montabaur can be reached in 15 minutes. Cologne and Frankfurt airports can be reached in 45 minutes. Various tourist attractions are available nearby. Despite the good connection, the place is in a rural idyll. The apartment is built barrier-free and senior-friendly.

The apartment was completely renovated in 2020. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom, a cozy living room and a modern bathroom. It is quietly located on the edge of the forest and has its own entrance, which offers a lot of privacy. Nature lovers appreciate the proximity to the Westerwaldsteig, a popular hiking trail. This cozy wooden house is situated in a small HOLIDAY SETTLEMENT on the Westerwaldsteig. With up to six people you can enjoy nature here! You can go hiking or swimming in the Secker Weiher. If it gets chilly you light a fire in the oven. Sits on the terrace and enjoys the summer. The house has simple amenities, but now also wifi! Please read the full description well before booking!! "Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

The property is idyllically located on the outskirts of Rotenhain overlooking forest and meadows in the middle between Hachenburg, Westerburg and Bad Marienberg. The apartment is on the ground floor. I live with my partner on the upper floor. The beautiful garden with terrace can be shared and is great for relaxing, barbecuing or playing for children.
