In misschien wel het leukste laantje van het mooie Bergen, verwelkomen wij een ieder die in een pittoresk vrijstaand huisje met eigen terras op comfortabele sfeervolle manier wenst te verblijven. Het huisje kent een eigen opgang. Beneden bevinden zich de keuken (geen vaatwasser), eettafel, zithoek met 2 fauteuils, TV en badkamer met douche en toilet. Gaan we via de houten wenteltrap naar boven kom je onder het puntdak alwaar een goed 2-persoonsbed en opbergruimte te vinden zijn. Welkom!

Irene's Birdhouse is located behind our home on the Breelaan in Bergen. That is close to the cozy center, but also very close to the forest, dunes and the beach. An ideal place and perfect getaway for two people who want to enjoy Bergen and its surroundings. The studio is equipped with all the comforts, modernly furnished and clean. We charge a set price per night including cleaning fee and tourist tax. A dog is also welcome, we charge a little extra for that.

Here there is no traffic only nature and tranquility around you. Nevertheless, it is less than a 5 minute walk to the supermarket. The sea is 5 km away. The dune area is close by. You can cycle for hours or walk through the beautiful forests and dunes where wild horses and cows graze.

We were four girlfriends on a little getaway and honestly – we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The apartment was absolutely beautiful, decorated with so much love and attention to detail – it felt cozy and stylish at the same time. The bathroom was super spacious, which made getting ready together in the mornings so much fun and totally stress-free (a big win when you’re four girls traveling together!). Christiaan and Jody were the sweetest hosts – always there if we needed anything, but also super respectful of our space. It felt really relaxed and welcoming right from the start. We especially loved the terrace – the perfect spot to sip our morning coffee, chat, and plan the day. It was such a fun, feel-good trip, and the accommodation played a huge part in that. Thank you so much for everything – we truly loved it and are already talking about coming back!

Lovely house close to picturesque centre of Bergen

We were once again guests in Marie-Chantal's very nice house, which leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is perfect for us and we always feel very comfortable there. We were very happy to take care of the cat Salty. The house is a perfect starting point for bike tours to the sea or hikes in the beautiful forest and dune area as well as for excursions e.g. to Alkmaar or Amsterdam. The center of Bergen has a lot to offer with beautiful museums, cafes, restaurants, markets and good shopping. We were here for the first time this year in the spring and enjoyed the colorful splendor of the flower fields very much. Communication with the hostess Marie-Chantal was as always very nice and straightforward. Thanks for the wonderful stay. We will be happy to come back.

Nice cottage in a nice area. Everything is available. It has a tricky spiral staircase to the two bedrooms. There is only a toilet downstairs (annex shower) but there is a sink upstairs. Noisy cottage. But very cozy.
