Vacation rentals with lake access in Westchester County

This is our second time renting this beautiful lakeside home and it was absolutely perfect for our girl's weekend. The kitchen was a dream, with all of the appliances and amenities you could need and plenty of room for everyone. The living room had so much seating and the fireplace made everything that much more cozy. All of the bedrooms had very comfortable beds with the best sheets and comforters. I think everyone was impressed with how well they slept. The owner was super easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We can't speak highly enough about this rental. Thank you !

It’s almost hard to believe Lake Waccabuc is only 1 hr north of NYC! My family had a wonderful stay! It was not easy leaving. Thank you Patrick! Once you arrive here, you will NOT want to leave! A true gem. You will feel like you’re in Maine! The house is set in the woods surrounded by hemlocks and pine trees, with a perfect view of the lake! We saw bald eagles, swans, and blue herons. Loved the morning light and fog-listening to the songs of the birds and watching the sunset on the lake. Our family loved fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking! The house is set on 4 acres- a fun and safe area to cycle, and take long walks. Close to Ridgefield, CT, Katonah and Bedford -only 15 min away! Patrick always responded to my questions within minutes and Jay, the house manager went above and beyond making sure our stay was perfect!!!! My boys already have asked if we can come back and rent again! 🙏

Ever been on a historic home tour where part of the house is roped off & they say, "this is where the family used to live"? This felt like being allowed past the rope line and stepping into history. I can't imagine how much this costs to maintain & I'm happy to have helped with that. I can't imagine what it was like trying to update a home of this age to give it modern amenities, electricity, plumbing, and really cute bathrooms, but the host has done a great job. Taller than > 5'10", watch your head! Loved looking at the miniature fittings and furnishings and details of bygone days, the solid wood plank floors were particularly fascinating to me, tiny fireplace detailing, & some old rope and pulley windows with older glass are gorgeous. Very close to Le Chateau where we were attending a wedding. Extremely comfy beds & pillows. Great modernized bathrooms. Really unique spot.

Joanna’s place was magnificent. It was truly our home away from home for 3 weeks while we underwent IVF treatments. The peacefulness of the neighborhood and friendly neighbors (who we even exchanged numbers with to keep in touch because of how amazing they all were) stood out the most. The place was spacious, nice, organized, and decorated beautifully. Joanna helped us out when we needed to extend our stay and was amazingly kind and responsive. Her yard was also so beautiful that it won “yard of the month” while we were there. The lake is truly right out the front door and Joanna had life jackets and canoes set up in case we wanted to venture into the water. Walks at night time in the neighborhood were so peaceful and we utilized her fire pit multiple times to enjoy the night views of the sky. We will definitely be booking a trip back to lake waccabuc around when Joanna has availability because it does not get better than this house, this neighborhood, these neighbors, or this host.

Yes, a Great stay....again! I think this may be our third or even forth stay here, which really says it all really. We are very happy when there is availability with Victoria and her Greenwich units, we are regular visitors to Greenwich every dew months and really enjoy staying somewhere as amazing and lovely, as this place, it really does feel like home! My party was in town for work, and ended up dealing with a nightmare of a host halfway through our stay. We needed a new location on short notice, which led to Lisa showing us what it looks like to go above and beyond for their guests. She accepted my request and communicated the check in process all at the late hour of 1am, as we were being unjustly evicted by the nightmare host Helen at Pound Ridge. The following morning around 7am, she proceeded to assist us with checking in and getting settled. The entire process was a 6 hour turnaround overnight from booking to check in, in which she was vigilantly working to make our transition comfortable. Lisa also offered to have the house dusted before we arrive, which was unnecessary because the house is spotless and stocked with hygiene amenities. Everything inside the home was staged properly to the point where we barely had to reach out for assistance. Lisa deserved all the praise.. it’s worth paying extra for hosts with high praise.

We had an amazing stay & Tulay is an outstanding host! We were able to check in early due to having an early flight & she was great with communication. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice peaceful place that’s close to everything you need in mamaroneck. We are so grateful we found this place, thank you to TULAY for making our stay exactly what we needed 😄

We were in North Salem for a wedding weekend (Thursday to Sunday). This was perfect for our needs. Very clean. A comfortable bed. A nice little sitting area with a comfy couch and TV. A desk for Zoom calls on Friday morning. And a little kitchenette for breakfast. There was a great hand book with lots of local recommendations. We were at wedding festivities most of the time so did not do much exploring. But did appreciate the recommendations for local places for coffee etc.

The hostess is what made my stay the best. I did have some minor setbacks but she was wonderful to work with. She was incredibly accommodating and took feedback well. Her communication was excellent. :)

Benjamin's place is all you expect and more. It is clean, roomy, comfortable, and quiet. My family is all about comfortable temperatures and the AC makes each room feel great. If you are sitting on the deck, off the kitchen, there is a breeze with pretty sunrises and sunsets. Ben was a thoughtful host! I reached out with one simple question and before we knew it we had items delivered to the door - for our family and our dog! It was a delightful and welcoming touch. The cottage is so comfortable with fabulous bedding, a fantastic Jacuzzi tub, a fully stocked kitchen, and a full coffee and tea bar! Such a generous amenity. I highly recommend Benjamin's cottage.

The place is a great spot to stay, nice and secluded with a pretty drive to get there. Def have a snow capable vehicle if driving in snow conditions. Lots of hills to get there and def a little treacherous. The home is a nice small cottage really only enough for 3 people tops, anymore and it’d feel cramped. Owner and team were quick to respond to questions or problems that arose. Just to note if weather conditions are not great there are possibilities of power cutting out. It happened constantly during my stay. Not the fault of the host just things to be cognizant of. This is definitely more of a summer place to stay, but otherwise we had a great trip and would absolutely come back to stay again! Lots of local places to eat, and a romantic little get away

Super special place. Very peaceful. Beautiful surroundings. If you love nature and a charming location, this is the place. The host was also extremely responsive and the cottage had everything I needed for a three month stay! Highly recommend!

Our stay was very enjoyable. Everything we were looking for from grilling on the deck, watching sports and movies in the theater, hanging at the fire pit, sleeping in comfortable beds and getting in some early season swimming at the pool!

The cottage was perfect for our weekend!! Emily was an amazing host right from the start and it really felt like home. Very clean and had everything we needed and more! Love how it is walkable to the town! I would highly recommend staying here!!

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable small cabin with a lake view. The fit and finish of the cabin are great, with an attractive design scheme and thoughtful touches. It is well-decorated, but completely free of clutter. Furniture is comfortable, as is the bed. Overall one of the best-designed Airbnb stays we have had. Host communication is extremely prompt and helpful as well.

We loved the view out to the lake, which was different every day and throughout the day. The open layout of the house is great to enjoy the views, and if the weather is nice, there are great sitting areas outside as well. The house is well-stocked and cozy. The hosts are friendly and always responsive. There are also great parks to visit nearby. We had a great winter weekend and would love to stay again.
