Smoking friendly vacation rentals in West Virginia

I loved staying here! It is in a quiet location (just the occasional train passing by!) and right on the river. Amy has everything you need to be comfortable in the space. I loved every minute of my stay!

This place was perfect for us! Gas stove, new washer and dryer, comfortable bed, nice size rooms, and outdoor patio. Convenient location, close to shopping and the river! Top of our list if we need a place to stay in the area again. Thank you so much Cindy and Jason!!!

Charles and staff were very friendly! Had a small issue with the hot water and they immediately assisted me! (Just had to wait for the hot water to reach our room, it was working fine!) They are working on renovations, but the beds were clean and comfortable. Room has a small fridge, but no microwave for anyone planning on that. No coffee pot in the room but it was offered to me several times in the lobby. Room also had a dresser, Roku tv, and small closet. Felt very safe! They write a local newspaper complete with comics and recipes and gave me a copy which was a neat addition and souvenir for my kiddo! Will definitely be back if in the area again! Cannot beat the price for the stay! Thanks for having us!!!

Syd was so considerate as to meet us with an umbrella because it was raining when we arrived! She is truly a delight and a great host. Her space is homey and welcoming. We would love to stay again :)

Loved our stay here! Convenient location to the city. the backyard is amazing, the deer visited it everyday. Everything is as listed. The water got hot, the space was comfortable, minimalist $ had essential cookware. Parking is limited. There is a 1 car wide driveway & an area for narrow street parking which comfortably parks 2 (assuming no one is parked in the middle). There are long term residents who stay in the top half of the residence, who clearly need parking as well. You can count out the driveway & cross your fingers they didn't park in the middle of the street parking & you've got a space! (if ur vehicle is small, you probably don't need to worry at all). Those residents do have 2 dogs. So if you are bringing dogs, be considerate. You can hear walking, dogs playing, water moving, etc from upstairs, which didn't bother me. There's no salt/p, cooking oil, anything like that. The post is transparent about all those things. I really enjoyed my stay, and would stay again!!!

Matt's place was easy to access, close to the stadium 🏟 and comfortable! He was a fabulous host. He was responsive to our questions and easy to communicate with! Definitely recommend.

We had a great time celebrating our daughter's college graduation. The spacious house and deck was great for everyone to mingle without tripping over anyone. Definitely would recommend this place for your next gathering.

Absolutely loved staying in this charming home! The decor was stunning, and had all the conveniences and utilities we needed for 3 nights. Everything was clean and accessible, and Vivian had even included a welcome note, and a basket with delicious treats for us on our arrival. Useful information regarding local attractions, and many brochures were available. We also loved the spacious grounds, and went exploring the very first morning. Given the chance, we would love to stay in this charming home again!

This is my kind of place up in the hollows of beautiful West Virginia! Great ATV riding right from the house.

Kim was an incredible host! Her attention to detail throughout the home was second to none. Her property is beautiful and peaceful, but close to everything we wanted to do. We were there to explore the New River Gorge NP and we did not have to travel far to any trailheads or for whitewater rafting. All of her restaurant recommendations were spot on, and we really enjoyed exploring the neighboring towns. Coming back to the hot tub after a day of hiking or rafting was so nice! We enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys (both with lots of babies) and the sunsets from the porch. The home was cozy and well stocked with anything we could possibly need, and Kim made sure we were happy and well taken care of. We stay in Airbnbs all over the US and Canada, and this is, by far, one of the best! I would give it 10 stars if I could! Thank you, Kim, for providing such a wonderful and beautiful place to call home for a few days.

We absolutely loved the cabin in the woods. We had 5 people and we all fit comfortably. You do need to be able to navigate the basement stairs to access the 2nd bathroom but it was very clean and inviting. They gave us great local recommendations for dinner and loved the local trout fly fishing experience. We would definitely stay there again.
