Vacation rentals with a fireplace in West Hartford

Highly recommend! A few steps out the back door and you are sitting on the dock, on the river....stargazing....all truly perfect for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed kayaking down the river, it was my first time! Totally cannot wait to do this again back home in Tennessee. The home is very clean, perfect location, everything you need and more. Ellie and Tower were quick to respond to our messages.

We are a family of five. There was a bed for everyone. If I had to find a con it's the one bath but we worked out a schedule. We never ran out of hot water. The outside amenities were great. My family is spread throughout the area south and north of Hartford so being in Manchester was a sweet spot to access all locations Noemi was great to work with and very responsive. A great experience overall. When I visit Hartford in the future, I will stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole and Martin’s place. It truly embodies the spirit of AirBnB as we felt welcome by the hosts and got to stay in a beautiful place that felt like home. The house is gorgeous inside, full of personality and lots of space. It was perfect for our visit.

We stayed here to celebrate my daughter's graduation from college and it was absolutely perfect. The cleanest and most generously stocked Airbnb I've stayed at. Extremely comfortable, convenient, calm and clean. Highly recommend.

Kristen’s space was exactly as described. It is beautiful, clean, and a very comfortable space. Kristen was a very responsive host. She was very kind to assist with accommodating a couple requests including my wife’s sensitivity to fragrances. Highly recommend this Airbnb.

This was a great place. We were in town for a couple of days with our dogs (all the way from Alabama) and the neighborhood was perfect for dog walking and getting some rest. The place was pristine and and the host was excellent. We somehow got ourselves locked out one day and he got over within 10 minutes to help us get in. Will definitely stay here again!

Jane was a helpful and responsive host, the apartment was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped (and things were labeled for finding easily), the location was great for what we needed, and the cats were the absolute sweetest. Our family of 5 was comfortable and felt safe and right at home even during severe weather (super hot in the 90s and severe thunderstorms). Our kids didn’t want to leave! Our stay at Katie’s West Hartford home was truly great! The location is perfect, our host was incredibly responsive and helpful, and there were many needed amenities available such as laundry, coffee machine, kettle, etc. As some have shared on previous reviews, you can hear the upstairs neighbors, but the hosts provided a sound machine to help with that. We even saw a bunny one morning which my toddler loved! Thanks for the stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Barbara’s beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The house is full of charm and character, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to everything we wanted to explore. We especially loved the cozy fireplace, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen. Barbara & Patty were incredibly responsive and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This was our 3rd time staying here and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway. We’d definitely love to return in the future!

Can't say enough good things about this apartment. We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights & it had everything we could have needed from the bathroom & kitchen supplies to the ultra clean linens. Beautiful landscaping around their home & set back in a wooded lot with a pond in the distance. Absolutely peaceful way to start & end your day. Had the pleasure of meeting Janice while we were there & she is even more delightful in person than thru messaging & she was great thru messaging! We have zero negative feedback & look forward to staying here again when we visit family.

Elisa’s place was perfect for what we needed. It was exactly like the photos inside, very cozy and welcoming! Elisa gave very clear directions to find the place and to park, although the parking lot ended up being very full and it could be difficult to find a space. We loved the place and if we ever came back would definitely stay again!

Our stay in West Hartford was great! We were looking for a place to stay where we could cook, and this apartment included a full kitchen with pots, plates, utensils, and a full fridge. Parking was easy, the neighborhood is easy to walk around, and the apartment was relaxing. We had a very nice stay overall!

Calming atmosphere upon arrival, lovely grounds and home. Our two dogs were happy with the size of the yard and the little bunny that kept showing up when we were walking them. Food delivery service was a nice surprise (that wasn’t available when we left the area 10 years ago!). The house wasn’t far from our daughter’s which made visiting convenient. Edgardo was then perfect host! There when we had a question but otherwise left us to ourselves. Dont think we could have chosen a better place for our first airbnb experience. Thank you Edgardo for allowing us to enjoy your home.

We’ve stayed in many places over the years (domestic & international)…this may be the best place we’ve stayed in. Paul was fantastic - super friendly, extremely responsive and very helpful. I can’t recommend this property enough - the house itself is beautiful and spacious…plenty of (comfortable) seating throughout the house…bedrooms are big with king size beds…just an awesome experience all around. We were there for a college graduation - this property was absolutely ideal for big family get-aways/celebrations.

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!

Dove Haven is truly a special spot that shows that someone (Patty) cares about it a lot. The house is very well stocked and we never lacked for anything. And the collection of available umbrellas was greatly appreciated (yes, a bit of rain). Spacious hot tub (accommodates 8, nicely) is well-located on adjacent deck with beautiful view of spectacular garden. Rare to find a place where each of the five bedrooms, (with en suite or nearby bathroom), would be a master bedroom in a typical Airbnb. The master bedroom lives up to the billing with a monstrous bathroom including an inviting tub and a private porch. Public tennis courts and public pickleball courts nearby (less than a mile down West Rock Ave) were a treat. As was brunch at Bella’s Cafe (highlighted in Patty’s online notebook). Just plain terrific from beginning to end.
